On Economic Reforms, Manmohan Singh was a Doer, but decision maker and facilitator was Narsimha Rao. Narsimha Rao was a genius, he knew and could speak in 17 Indian Languages. His life is interesting, when he died, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi did not even receive his body at Congress office, such was her rift with Narsimha Rao. At the end, when his body was cremated, it was raining and it could not burn properly. People reported that a part of his body was eaten by Crows and Vultures, the next day of his cremation. Not only did his party treat him badly, the ungrateful people of India treated him badly as well. The same middle-class section of the society which benefitted the most due to his governance, did not vote for him in the next election and made sure that he lost power. Sad, very sad ! Nobody remembers him - neither his partymen nor the UNGRATEFUL people of India !!

I was born in late 80s. We have been benefitted by liberalisation for sure, and we must thank PVN for it, but there is one major drawback of it which has impacted many people of my age group. i.e. Unnatural development and growth, I somehow feel I was in coma and I woke up few years later. I don't know what happened on Sunday 😁. I really miss those simple, peaceful days of the past. While I am missing those days, I am typing this message on an American phone, sending via an Indian 4G network, life is much more comfortable. Chalti ka naam Zindagi.

Large scale borrowing goes to the legacy of Nehru. In 1956 he indicated that something is wrong with the entire planning machinery. But then came China trouble came and nothing concrete could be done, Lal Bahadur Shahshry didn't have time as he had to go to war. But Indira Gandhi...she had everything but ....the larger trouble is that a lot of Congress psyche is still in 1960s and if coming to power things will only get worse. Atal Bihari's strong policy were robust that can be seen better growth for India for next 3 years after their time over. But then again deficit financing stated happening in congress regime from 2006 and we know of poor economic performance around 2010-12.
