But contrary to for example the British GP, we host an international event and put on a show, using the football atmosphere the Dutch Verstappen fans have brought to many other GPs. And well organized it was, thanks to the Dutch being the only people that will bicycle to a car racing event because otherwise it simply wouldn't fit there, not by a mile. No traffic jams, everything clean, well organized but chill and friendly, I take pride in us being a good host. To be honest, Senna was never lonely at the top. First there was Prost to match him and then there was Schumacher to replace him as the most wanted driver. Mika Hakkinen matched him too. But then there was the tragedy while the Brazilians already tend to dramatize. Not saying anything to put down Pele, Romario, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, but most Brazilian footballers could do with a discount to correct for the Brazilian hype.

Why they show the Bikes, simple the whole city of Zandvoort has been shut down for F1, expect with pass, for cars, so most of the people come or by train, 5 min walking, or on bike from city’s around Zandvoort in a range of max 30-35km, it is the only GrandPrix and that’s why a lot off city from other Grand Prix are coming to watch how they do it in Zandvoort organization whise.
Those bikes are used by most of the people to get to the stadion. During the race weekend only emission free vehicles are allowed. This is to spare the dunes from too much C02 gas.
