We recommend this as "best practice" as here in the highlands some owners continue to use their vans after they have done a winter drain down and the danger of running a waterpump with a dry system and the resulting damage to the WP is avoided by doing this.
Brilliant video. I must say that I have never heard of only turning on the water pump switch on demand. Is there a reason for this?
