    Came here looking exactly for what an 8 bladed prop, nurks channel, would sound like on a cinewhoop. Thanks and looks like I'm buying a pair!

    whats better for acro without ducts; 3 blades, 5 or 8?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most people prefer 3 blades for acro. Of course, this is very subjective.

    Currently, I have four bladed props on my Cinepros and my TinyGo... I wonder how they would function with the Octo-props, better or diminishing returns?

    Hi Albert, newbie here. What will happen if I use four, five or eight blade props on a geprc Phantom Hd.

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As the number of blades increases you'll have more power and control but flight time will decrease. You'll need to also adjust the PID tune for each prop. Make sure you do a test hover to make sure nothing is wrong.

    every time you bring up the topic of how these things sound in the reviews, i think of that one cheap airplane you reviewed that sounded like it came from the fifth pit of hell. i couldn’t stop laughing after i watched that one.

    Got rid of my Taycan because of the noise, It was 6s with a large battery and would hurt your ears. Maybe different props would have helped. I think I will just run open props from now on.

    I ordered 3 sets of those a few days ago after I saw nurk flying them on his 5 inch lol. I’ve been thinking about making my cvatar naked also when I get a little better on the sticks lol

    Did you see a difference in motor temps? I tried 6 blades on my cvatar and temps where super high, couldn't touch the motors, so reverted back to stock 3 blades

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine weren't even warm, but I stripped my Cvatar down and it's probably a lot lighter than yours.

      @@AlbertKimTV ok cool thnx. I ran mine even without a gopro and i couldn't touch the motors. Suppose i need to, do some tuning then.. Was on stock tune

    I tried the 6 bladed 2.5 inch version and it gave me 3 minutes of flight time. 4 bladed 2 inch props gave me 6 minutes so I really don't see the point. It doesn't fly better and it halves the flight time. I imagine 8 blades are even worse. Again, WHAT is the POINT?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The additional props are a specialty item IMO. You trade off flight time for better precision handling at low speeds. Specifically geared towards cinewhoop work getting special shots in tight spaces. I know a couple pros already using these for this specific purpose. These are not a general purpose prop so obviously not for someone like you.

    • @athefpv4670
      @athefpv4670 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AlbertKimTV I do cinewhoop although on a very light setup (Inspired by your lightest cinewhoop build actually). I never felt the need for that low rpm stability as it is plenty stable on 4 blades. I'd go 3 blades If my ears could handle it xD
