A really nice smoothly graded song. Kudos to the video production person, having to discover all those snippets and then splice everything together. Although Estepario wasn't, as you said, overwhelming in the song, he has quite a few intriguing fills and interesting beat counts. And nice that they have a great cause!!
The whole song is in 4/4, the syncopated kick pattern just makes it feel like it's in odd time sig with the song's pulse. That later part, eventhough it goes in triplet, you can still count it in 4.
