I’m extremely happy the game has English voiceover. For me having a visual impairment I won’t have to read all the subtitles it’ll make it more fun and a better experience I’m really excited the games coming out I have an iPhone XR so I know it’ll work on my device and I’m really happy it’ll probably be the only game that’s on my phone LOL right now I’m playing the old version by MiHoYo that is only subtitles in English. I cannot wait for this game and I’m really hoping to be able to play the beta hopefully I message the company and I don’t really know how to get into the beta I made an account with MiHoYo And that’s it I looked for the closed beta for 2020 and I found information about it but I couldn’t sign up except for making an account no idea the game looks epic and I cannot wait for it to drop for iOS

Hey Tera! I’m glad your liking the game! As far as how big it is on mobile I’m not entirely sure as I’m playing the PC version! I also enjoy the English voice over though! As for the beta the signups happened awhile ago and they randomly selected individuals so for those who didn’t get an email then sadly they won’t be able to play. ;-; The game is TBA 2020 this year. But if there is another beta I will be the first to let all my viewers know so they can sign up again!

Technically all the original archons should’ve seen that according to the lore. I would guess that maybe this lady is the original electro archon if I understood the lore correctly because she speaks of eternity or eternal things many times in a short fight and she is unfazed by lumine’s lightning explosion attack. Maybe the issue will be that the god that did all this is long dead. We can’t have our vengeance. Maybe that’s why aether became so angry.

The Traveler can fly with wings and has other powers before losing them to the Unknown God. Maybe when the story finally ends with updates, we get those powers back. Imagine flying around the world.
Visions are a Teyvat thing, they wouldn't have that.
It would be great to be able to fly around the world after traveller gets their power back, just to see the sights with no worries and not slowly lowering to the ground
@@F-Lambda traveller doesn’t have a vision, and was able to fly, so it makes sense that they would regain that ability when they get their power back

if you go to the character icon and go to the traveler's profile and click voicelines you can hear them have multiple conversations with paimon and what they think about the other characters :D
@@Lily-lp2bj still have to understand why they put "in game" content with LOAD of voice acting for main characters, but almost Zero in story line, i just cant find the reason or the meaning for this choice.

After playing a bit, I forgot how the game even started. Like my brain wasn't allowed to dwell on the cutscene and then too much fun stuff happened, so it wasn't saved :)

From Paimon design though it could be a plot twist that she is this God. Their designs is way too similar for her to not have a sort of connection with her.

I just realize but every time we heard of how powerful an archon was the traveler never actually gets surprised/scared... they only do when is told that they used that power to do something morally questionable but never because of the actual power itself..
The traveler with their full powers probably are stronger than any archon..
Why Unknown God not killed this sibling? Maybe because they are immortall? But Archon can die, maybe they are same level as Archon before. But from antoher world.
archons are not supposed to be strong, so yes the traveler is probably stronger than most archons. also the traveler doesn't get scared of how strong archons are because he knows he will probably never fight them, and if he did he would probably know what he was doing. as for raiden, he didn't want to fight her but had no choice because he had to save Thoma.

@@luisfillipebeserra2108 yeah cuz it was said very clearly in the intro that the unknown god took the traveler’s powers, or at least most of it, so while AT THE MOMENT their power might not be the best, remember they are in reality WAY more powerful they just have their power sealed away.
Well while the twins had their powers still, they squared up against the unknown god with no hesitation, they know they're powerful as hell.

While I don't think that Paimon is the unknown god AT ALL, I do think it's interesting how the two have similar designs. If I learned anything from Mihoyo it's that no design choice is made by chance, and everything has a meaning even if it's not shoved directly in your face- like Kaeyas whole visual design resembling that of a Cryo Abyss mage. In the case of Paimon and the unknown god- they both have that black star shaped pendant, the god has it sitting above her chest and Paimon in her hair. Their color schemes and the decorations on their clothes are also similar. I think Paimon has something to do with Khaenriah.
But, what if Paimon is that last little cube around the MC's hand. We know the MC's main power is the power to purify the corruption in the world and that cube is established as the first block in the chain. By the time the unknown god rewinds it its been surrounding (his/her) power for some time and the unknown god cant seem to control it. Its colour is different, no longer red.. kind of orange or gold. Paimon has a similar appearance to the unknown god, can stop time for us while we use inventory... but continues to caper and dance around because time-stop doesn't affect her, knows all about the world, but people have never seen a floating 'mascot pet thing' like her before.. and mysteriously appeared in the same time and place as MC waking up.
Oh! There's even that bit of the story with the massive explosion (regarding dropping a certain something on a waking god) where the party is engulfed by a huge explosion. but in that explosion you can see two cubes surround and shield the party form the explosion. At that time the traveler was being lent power form like, several different sources and supercharged.. maybe paimon was also being supercharged also. Her greatest fear is being eaten by a giant slime... Is that foreshadowing?
Yeah, I don't think they're the same character but there's a good chance they're related.
She could be an envoy of the unknown God ( Celestia?).

@@TheDramacist lol, my personal outlandish theory is that Paimon is Celestia. The whole star magic thing, plus the Dainsleigh (I did *not* spell that right) and unknown god have similarish outfits, and then the statue detailing's somewhat matching the metal on her outfit...
Something about the utter desperation in lumine's voice when she begs for her brother back is absolutely heartbreaking everyone say thank you to Sarah Miller Crews

This intro is SO GOOD, so beautifully arranged and executed it gives me an intense feeling of "Wow, I'm experiencing some badass game intro."
Then, the gacha, grinding, money-wasting hell begins.

Maybe they're trying to Prevent the possiblity of honkai coming from teyvat, because honkai only appears when civilization thrived too much

i remember first starting this game and seeing this opening cutscene. i was so confused since i never heard or seen it, but when i saw this cutscene, my eyes exploded. (meaning that it was the best opening to a game)

This cutscene is already nostalgic for me even though I've only played for 2 months 🗿
If you look at the cutscene closely, you see that the sword the chosen twin is holding is absorbed, similar to the other twin. This means that the other twin might have your weapon, which could be a cool plot point.
We lost our sword because we didn't want to "lose" meanwhile our sibling remember how many pulls she did for that sword and said screw it bro save me, now she has her sword and I'm stuck with the flute
It bothers me that the main characters don't get any actual spoken lines after this
Actually when you add the protagonist to the team he/she will say something which i forgot. And also when He dies, he ( i chose aether) says “maybe I’m just not meant for this world”. Aaaand (spoilers maybe) in a cutscene where you have to steal a harp, the protagonist yells
”Venti!!!” And only those are the other voicelines i heard

So she must be someone from Celestia, above all the other archons. And since this happened during the war with Khaenri'ah, she's probably trying to use them as weapons, which is probably why the traveler can use all the elements.

I just recall that the gems on their clothes change color, then wants to investigate their original gem color. It’s white, so their element formerly was light?

And before you touch the statue, the gems are black....
It could be light, or it could be Astro. Remember, the emblems on their backs are star-shaped, as is the nation border around their elemental symbol on the character screen.

It's been 4 months that I started Genshin. Over time I've been burnt out many a times. Been frustrated with gacha and RNG. But I come back here to re-live the happiness that I had when I started. This brings good nostalgia and pumps me to be what I am supposed to be a true traveler. Love you Genshin Impact.

I keep feeling convinced the twins are the project ark launched by dr. MEI in search for an inhabitable planet for humanity (abyss twin has said they cannot go to the next world to look for a new home yet) it also says they fell from another world and you can see from the honkai manga that there are two meteors flying when project ark was mentioned. It was said that they were supposed to get a call from project ark around 15 years ago but never did and traveler was separated from their twin 500 years ago (for this, I've seen someone calculate tevyat time from khaenriah time which made me believe so)
I've also read that the reason why abyss twin cannot leave yet is because tevyat is actually some sort of a fake reality (from what scara said, the stars are a lie) which helped me believe it is a fake reality created by the honkai or the imaginary tree and abyss twin aims to help the people of tevyat from the gods, like the unknown god (which can also be the reason why the tsaritsa is collecting the other archons' gnosis)
This is just a theory in case people may believe otherwise :)

UGH I FORGOT THAT PAIMON WAS THE MOST COMFORTING SMOL CHARACTER IN GENSHIN EARLY PHASE :(( Her voice was so soft, her attitude was so polite...
Istgd Lumine screaming "give my brother back!..." breaks me in too many pieces
maybe this has already been said, but I think this Unknown God can alter space-time. When I say space-time, I'm refering to the 3 dimensions of space and the dimension of time. Reviewing the Traveler's attack at 1:22 step by step, we can see that she first condenses that yellow power in her hand before dealing the blow to the Sustainer. Then after Traveler lands the attack the Sustainer literally reverses the attack back to the instant when that yellow power was all concentrated in the Traveler's hand. Note that she doesn't reverse the entire "reality" around her, she reverses time only within the space surrounded by the cubes at 1:30. And Lumine can't get away because she doesn't have control over the "temporarily different (reversed)" reality that her hand is trapped in. Maybe unless she cut her own hand off, lol. Ask yourself, what's the fastest way for the God to take away the Traveler's power? simply reverse time until the moment when they channeled all their power in their hand to deal their strongest attack to the God. Easy! So, my theory is that the Sustainer can isolate a part of reality inside those red cubes, which become an independent "chunk" of space-time, disconnected from the reality outside, and then she can do whatever she wants with it.

Long ago, the seven nations used to live togeder in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fauti nation (i don't remember the name of their nation) attacked.
Only the travelers, masters of all seven elements, could stop them. But when the world needed them the most, they vanished.
Hundreds of years have passed and I found one of the travelers, a twin named Lumine and although her fighting skills are great, she needs to learn a lot before she could save anyone.
But I believe that Lumine can save the world.

These 2 must be the most powerful one, no god can travel world to world or fight with this powerful unknown god (they probably haven't met her and don't know who she is)

Thank God this video exists. Wanted to get a fresh experience into Genshin but just after hitting the start button my father really had to interrupt and argue his bs with me.
Many people are here to see the whole cutscene without it glitching out/lag in it, while I'm here to see it again bc I love it so much, especially the explosion before you select a twin.

Is it just me or is the way the unknown God says "the sustainer of heavenly principles. Your journey ends now" just so epic. That voice actor did a good job for only some lines

This is literally the only scene where Paimon’s voice is not freakishly annoying
It´s striking that after the sustainer trapped the traveler´s sibling into one little cube, the last we see from the traveler in the first scene is that he/she is being wrapped in those cubes just like his/her sibling, the traveler would later say this only took her powers but this could actually mean that the traveler (and the sibling) are still trapped and living a rather fake reality created by Celestia, this would be in accordance to the information we received since Sumeru archon quests where Irmensul could be altered, arguably by Celestia, to change Teyvat´s citizens memory and then in Fontaine where Nicole tells the traveler to not trust anything she sees.
Anyone else coming back here after the new quest? Since the abyss herald called lumine princess what if the unknown od is the queen
I came back here because the devs straight up forgot their own opening cutscene. You tell Dain that when you and your sister first enter world, all you seen was a sea of flames as war was being fought. Except the opening cutscene shows the exact opposite.

Did anybody else get a look at how cool the twins powers look? It's like very strong yellow electicity and it created a massive explosion when they attacked Asmoday. Cant wait to see them get it back. Also cant wait for wings and their old swords back, too
