I was actually cheering on for the Romans Season Four mainly due to Naevias and Crixuss lack of rational thinking and pure bloodlust. They turned into everything they hated in the Romans. Team Spartacus and Gannicus for me.
Naevias as a student became a warrior an excellent killing machine! Her mentor, force of nature you did not want it to confront in a erroneus way! An army or two had to take em down! Crixxus Crixxus Crixxus

If they wanted freedom they would have left with spartacus and they would survive outside Rome boarders. Simple as that
It was disappointing to see the writing detoriate for the final season. Everything was just so rushed. They could have taken time to develop more diverse villains and given proper reasons for the slave army seperating and more detail into their journey across Italy. In the end it just felt rushed to give us the gratifying gory moments we expected but were never earned unlike seasons 1,2 and 3.
I just love Ellen Hollman acting like an highschool girl who hangs out with tough boys as Saxa. Her overall cartoonish approach works so well. Not to mention she's fucking gorgeous
Anyone noticed the big roman soldier who was always near Tiberius, is the same soldier, that fought Spartacus in exhibition 4vs1 when Glaber ordered to prove Batiatus word about Spartacus true XD
I wasn't wild about the switch of actors at first, but Cynthia Addai-Robinson killed it as Naevia. She played the transition from fragile and traumatized to badass warrior very well. And the evolution of her relationship with Crixus was great to watch. Especially in season 2 where she asks him to teach her to fight, and that ends up saving and reigniting their relationship.

I still maintain that Cynthia Addai-Robinson did an excellent job. Her Naevia was almost a different character from the Naevia played by Lesley-Ann Brandt (who was also excellent), for very good reasons. And she played the part of badass warrior Naevia very well. Also, it's cool how the last move she uses on Tiberius before she has him on his knees is the same kick to the chest she gave to Crixus during their early training -- only by now it's something she's perfected.
Imagine if Spartacus and his rebels allied themselves with Vercingetorix and his gauls. Perhaps thrace aswell. Thanks naevia you doomed all of them with your bloodlust.

This new Naevia almost made me stop watching his show, simply horrible and not what she use to be. New actor portraying her is one thing, but the fundamental change in who she was is ridiculous! First of all, the new actor cannot act-awful, second, naevia's new personality does not mesh with the reason why Crixus would be protective of her. Such a bad move by the producers. Her 'new found' abilities, as a warrior, defy logic. A true misstep. Shoe horning in a PC 'Strong' woman with this character was so wrong on many levels.

It's called entertainment. Who claimed it was historically accurate? Most historical dramas use artistic license to make the story more entertaining. If you want historical accuracy, take a college class on Roman history.

Gannicus beating a guy blind folded/ Theocoles getting skewered by crixus and spartacus multiple times and still fighting regardless/ Basically all of the main cast's ability 1v20 the best trained soldiers in the world at the time (legionaries)...If you are going to call out the unrealism call it all out, unless your problem is with women characters specifically that is(then your comment makes more sense). At the end of the day who cares it's just a TV show the wole point is to enjoy and suspend disbelief.
