If you are going to take an XJ up trail 15 with your driving style, I vote for tons and 37s. 40s? better get something beefier and be ready to twist that body all up. You'll need a cage pretty soon. Anyhow awesome effort, I love that trail.

Not bad at all with Dana 30…how big is your trailer WxL ?
It held up pretty well so be a dirty 30. Just couldn’t handle 35s and throttle. It did great slow crawling.
I think the trailer is 6.5x16 no trailer brakes. Pretty cheap little trailer.
It’s almost like Harrison knew you were going to need a strap in about an hour. Hope your rebuild is going good. Thanks for showing some love to my TJ in your video.

WE just did 15 again yesterday and it was a blast! pretty nasty especially after the fan ride but I Love it, (some parts got left on the trail!) followed it with 17,16!
I hate that I missed that one! Sounds like a great trip. Maybe I’ll make the next one. I should have it together by Friday. We will have to plan a trip one weekend.
What gears/lockers/tires you running?
I believe I had Yukon 4.88s in it during this one. Spartan lockers front and rear with 35/12.50/15 mastercraft courser mt.
As much s’*T as y’all tore up…I don’t know if tons are enough for you guys…might want to get a set from Busted Knuckles….LOL
😂😂I just need to get some rockwells! Lol. The tires are a bit big for the stock axles as you can see lol.
