For a legendary grenade launcher you would expect the M270 to do better. There should be a clear difference between legendary and epic so that one day we could have tier 4.

SR-5 may be better, but I prefer versatility.

M270 is weaker but can hit submarine so still better than SR-5 somehow, M270 makes your ship even more flexible

Sr-5 launches half guided (wich can be flarred) and half unguided(unflarable) the legendary one is all guided so all flarable
