Geoff will never give up on RT/AH, and Griffin's chainsaw carving was taking her places away from Geoff, which he complained about seldom seeing her. That strain plus their seeming lack of meaningful communication skills made it inevitable.
Honestly, I love RT but I feel like the content quality has gone down hill. Now I know comparing jerm to ray is harsh cause ray was with them for so long and just had so many great moments, but I don't really care for him. He's not bad but he doesn't really bring anything special in. That and with all the new shows, RT is doing more quantity then quality to get the money they need. Lazer team was awful and I feel like things are just...bad. Idk. If your down here sorry for my ramblings
Things are bad before they get better. RT's trying out a lot things because at their core, they still want to make things they want to make, and hopefully it entertains enough people for it to be worthwhile.

Case and point 7D2D and sky factory, you can tell they dont wanna stop anytime soon. In fact when they do play they seem like they wanna record more the same day, making "false intros" to make it seem the 2 videos werent minutes apart. Geoffs sabbatical helped him alot also
