Mount Rushmore National Memorial: Quick Walk Tour, South Dakota Attraction | Tri Nguyen

Mount Rushmore National Memorial was established to promote tourism in South Dakota. The development started in 1927 and completed in 1941. It was originally started by Gutzon Borglum; however, he passed away before completing the project, so his son Lincoln continued his work and completed in 1941. October 31, 1941 was the official open date. Mount Rushmore National Memorial is free to visit but we'll have to pay for the parking.
