- While Rishi Sunak insists it's not over for the Tories, Jeremy Hunt openly admits he could become the first Chancellor to lose his seat.

He has described Godalming and Ash in Surrey as being "on a knife edge" after the Liberal Democrats made it a key target in their campaign to smash the southern ‘Blue Wall’.
Our Senior Politics Correspondent Paul McNamara went there to find out whether he can keep a hold of his true-blue seat.

The NHS is a joke. The education system forced you to not skip a year, limiting potential, HSR literally doesnt exist (top speed 125 when most trains top at 100/110mph, is not high speed).

Have you consdered the fact that people are not racist, but are very tired of the Governments giving away unnecessary money when it is so badly needed by British people. I just spent 2 days visiting Nofolk. Driving around I saw 100s of vote green posters. Not a single vote Tory one in super Tory seats. Literally every field had one. Never seen anything lke this.
My area has only ever had a Tory ever since it was created in the 40s. I've only seen Labour posters in people's houses

If there’s any karmic justice in this world then absolutely! Bear in mind folks, a large part of why healthcare and social care has been decimated along with stagnant wages for healthcare professionals (whilst MPs get a raise) and student nurses lost their bursary is due to none other than Jeremy Twunt! This man earns millions from his various businesses and also tried to fiddle his taxes!
James Walsh is a labour Councillor in neighbouring Guildford, no idea why he is standing in Godalming. More interestingly the local greens decided not to stand a candidate to help the tactical vote for Lib Dems but one has been parachuted in to fill up the ballot paper.
Greens cycle people in, they don't fly.

People keep talking about there being “Portillo moments” on election night. The difference is Portillo was a significant and well known political figure in 1997. The current cabinet is a collection of nondescript nobodies. Back in 1997 I would guess Portillo would have been picked out by 80% of people in a lineup.
