- I'm moving back into a Traveler's Notebook for November and December. I won't be using it as a planner but as a notebook. I also will be addressing annoying comments as well as share updates for October planner spreads and weekly setup plan with me decorating sessions.

Hey, lady...I haven't heard the part about the annoying comments, yet. A lifetime ago the man I worked for told me that unless you had 25% of the people unsatisfied/unhappy with you, you weren't being effective. As a college student, I didn't understand the wisdom of that insight. I've been able to draw on it A LOT since then. YOU GO, GIRL! PS...where do I find the 4 1/2 x 7 composition notebook?

People just want to be joy stealers! I love your videos and get a lot of inspiration from your ideas. I used to always trying to figure out what I loved so much about journaling (because I would rush through the writing part), and finally realized that what I enjoy the most is the decorating. So I love seeing the different ways people use stickers to decorate, and your layouts always turn out so pretty and interesting. TFS! :)

What bozos to make negative comments about creative, decorative planning. The name of your channel has Scrap and Craft right in it. It’s not “MinimalPlannersUnite”. Some people must be doing an amazing job of planning because they have WAY too much free time left on their hands, to go dropping mean comments no one wants to read. If I did not have you to watch I would go nuts if I could support you I whould, but being on a fixed income at 71 I just cannot afford to spend anything extra. Me too! I don't have a ton of plans and really use the Google calendar app for that, but I love the creativity of 'playing' in my planners. I use to be a scrapbooker and this is a good scaled down version of that.

I feel that about not using stickers you used to use. I’m currently on a destashing/reorganization of all my happy planner stickers since I find myself preferring the small shops you recommend now instead. My style just changed so much but I have too many stickers because I can’t stop buying them lol also I absolutely love your videos. I’m a new sub but I literally watch your videos all day to get inspiration

I enjoy seeing the more decorative planners. They're so pretty even if there isn't a lit if doace fir writing down things.
I used functional planners for decades, referred to them as my Backup Brain. I figured once i wrote it down, i didn't need to keep it memorized.
Plus i liked checking things off the list.
When i became a stay at home mom i thought i could stop. But i quickly realized i needed tge pkanner mire than ever. Without a set schedule i was just drifting. Si u purchased a okanner agaun ti track all the child snd home stuff. I had to dkiwly build routines and habits, like trash day, laundry day, menu planning, grocery shopping, it's like a whole project management system. Even playdates and medical appointments, bills being due. Its akmost more demanding than a regular job.
But very little colorful doodles in those.
My creative side needs an outlet too. I haven't quite figured out how to incorporate both in a way rhat wirks for me.
I tried a Bullet journal in 2020. Heck of a year. I picked up an A5 at Michael's that had 6 months pre-printed at the front of the book snd the rest of the pages plain

I learned a kit that year. I like to actually journal and write about my day. But does that go in a planner or a separate journal?
I like to write down what the weather was like but tiny stickers to depict sunny, cloudy, windy, cold, rain etc would be easier.
I didn't know what to do with the moid tracker and gabit tracker so i didn't need those pages. I learned that i personality like turning to a page and having the date already in there.
I'll keep trying to sort it out

I too use my planner for a creative outlet. And I love it. Some days it is sticker heavy and some day it is not. Some day i write in it which im trying to do better with and some day I dont. I love every video that you put out. Thank you for all you share with us.

Rachelle, I love the spread and layout that you present on your videos for your planners. I use a dollar store hole puncher and to make the slots to hold the disc (1.5) for my planner l purchase a pattern notcher punch (punches one side of a id badge ) to cut the slits in my paper. Amazon has these. It was a hassle cutting slots for my planner. ❤ your channel.

What is release paper and what do you use it for?
They use it with Diamond Painting, but it's basically sticker paper backing, but it's slick on both sides. I'm using it to hold sticker stragglers from kits, etc. No point keeping a whole sheet for 1 or 2 stickers, so I'll store them on the release paper.
