I’ve had Mankind Hero for a few years and I enjoy it. It does get overlooked often but I always find myself coming back to it and sliding it into a weekly rotation in spring, summer and fall.
I've had the CK IN2U for him for quite some time now and I can say for sure that it's good for the price. Here in Europe we don't (generally) find this kind of a scent odd I'm surprised you did😁 But the fragrance is so fresh and uplifting yet different as you mentioned. I get compliments from both women and men when I wear it. Give it some time, it's definitely a mood changer for me. And lasts about 7-8 hours on my skin with good projection, if I spray it on clothes I can smell it even the next day. Absolutely a hidden jem!

CK in2U surprised me. That cacao note goes away after about 5 min. It's such a chameleon of a fragrance. Would be a great learning fragrance for someone to understand what a top note, mid and base note means. Thanks for doing this one!

Hell yeah man! Ya finally grabbed "the rocket!" LOL! I have it too and I gotta agree completely with you! It's very different yet oddly addictive! Pretty smooth and friendly. I'm glad to have it in my collection for when I want to wear something fresh yet different from all my blue, citrus heavy or aquatic freshies. One last thing, you passed over a fragrance that I'm pretty sure you'll dig. I'm thinking that you may have skipped it because they weren't in boxes, but I'm tellin' ya, it's a little hidden gem! The one I'm talking about is Realtree Xtra Green. It comes in a nice, heavy bottle with a good atomizer and it smells great! Here's what I pulled off of FragX about it and I gotta say that it's pretty accurate: Red grapefruit and lemon start things off with a crisp, zesty blast of juice. The citrus scents are balanced against the warm, inviting tone of spicy cardamom. Seductive jasmine shines at the center, lending a floral richness to the cologne. It is cooled with a green sprig of earthy rosemary. The earthy profile continues into the base with vetiver. Musk and rosewood round out the fragrance with a smooth finish.
@@jordanpaul3701 I think that'll be a decent choice. However, I have a better suggestion for you if you need something for the heat and that is Tommy Bahama St Bart's. It absolutely SHINES in the heat and projects like crazy for a good 3-4 hours if you're outside the whole time. If you're in the A/C cut that projection number in half. It IS an EDC but it doesn't perform like one. Honestly, it's HANDS DOWN one of the BEST cheapies you can buy! Now, just a disclaimer, and this is NOT to brag) I own around 400 bottles and the vast majority of them are cheapies, so I'm not completely speaking from my sphincter here. 😂🤣

Have you tried Lacoste "Live"? I've only tried the dollar store version of it, but I like it to the extent that I plan to get a bottle of Lacoste "Live".

Hit the exact same 3 stores in my area Tuesday, picked up a 15 ML Mont Blanc Legend Spirit for $16.99 at Ross. Also saw that 50 ML Nautica Voyage Sport for the same price at Marshall’s and TJ Maxx, would have picked it up if I didn’t have or was running low on my regular Voyage bottle.

You aren’t crazy, fragrantica lists Mountain Air as one of the most prominent top notes which is where you could be pulling those ozonic/aldehydic notes

I have a secret Marshalls location that I drive 1 1/2 hours to look at fragrances... i go like once or twice a month.. never been disappointed. Last time i went I picked up Prada L'Homme for $59.99 👍

Just grabbed another bottle of nautica Voyage from the maxx yesterday and it's still my #1 complimented fragrance for years now!

Can you review Kenneth Cole Mankind Rise? I think it's an underrated scent.
Fragrantica shows "Mountain Air" as the first note in Hero, so that kind of substantiates your assessment of it being "airy", almost aldehidic.
Mankind Hero is great for me. I like it because its versatile and reminds me of a sweet mountain air.

Euphoria smells nice.... but it didn't last long on me... so that's my around the house/around town scent.... that Ferrari is a good one i heard
