I'm also a huge fan of AI.Your simple explanations have always been a fantastic introduction to new features. Particularly liked the multiple backdrops with the blue overlay all done in Photoshop. Look forward to seeing more like this from you in the future.🏴
I've got no probs with using AI. Like you say, it's just an assist. You don't expect painters to fashion their own paintbrushes, they just use tools that already exist.
I love generative AI - but it has some problems. It's prudish. As an example, the side of an arm is partially cut off in the photo of a woman in a beautiful evening dress. I expand, select and I get a warning. Put in a period - NOPE! It also has trigger words. Let's say I want Dr Martens black boots on someone - it's OK with Dr. Martens black boots and admittedly, I get several funnies and do it again - about the 3rd time I get what I want. If photoshop isn't totally getting what I want I add Dr. Martens black combat boots!!! WARNING. It doesn't like the word combat. I can't use arm and a litany of other "off limits" words. AI also has issues with perspective and my list is long. Nonetheless - I like it but photoshop needs to do better.
Thanks for sharing your experience with generative AI! It's definitely powerful but can be frustrating with those unexpected restrictions. I totally get where you're coming from-sometimes the AI's "prudishness" feels like it gets in the way of creativity, especially with seemingly harmless words or concepts. It’s great that you’ve found workarounds, but it’s clear there’s room for improvement. Hopefully, as the technology evolves, it’ll become more intuitive and less restrictive, allowing us to fully unleash our creative visions without these hurdles!
I’m in complete agreement. Photoshop also balks, a *lot*, when retouching fingers. (It’s based on fear of replicating another finger-like gender-specific appendage.) And it doesn’t like "fight," but if you add "superhero" it greenlights. Adobe definitely has some kinks to work out.
@@dekeNow I'll be back! - he usually says. Remember he's the product of AI becoming selfaware. After that humanity isn't needed any longer. You better call Saul, Deke ;O)

Excellent, thx!
After all these year, I adore your explaining , and the ability of making anything simple.♥♥♥
Thank you!
Why aren't you using the Enhance Details button in the genfill previews?
Good call, probably should have. I covered Enhance Details a couple of months ago th-cam.com/video/JdFKrjRNcac/w-d-xo.html

I think the more we submit to AI we are on a slippery slope where our grandkids will be under the control of it
Remember when we welcomed the bright shiny robots? And now here they are doing what they do best, making more little robots. 😅
