I feel that in the world of Chinese ceramics, when people buying from auction houses such as Sotheby's and Christie's, many of them are buying them for the restige, kind of like Louis Vuitton , XO, Tiffany, Rolls Royce. It seems to me based on examples I've seen, including those from your channel, that there are very beautiful antique pieces out in the marketplace, but because they are not being sold at christies or Sotheby's , they are worth only 1/100th of the value. I believe it is especially possible when it comes to older pieces from the song dynasty or jun yao or jianzhan bowls ... paying a lot of money for the prestige. Namely, a jian will only be worth a lot of money if you sell it at Sotheby's and Christie's. Otherwise it's just a really really really nice bowl. At other marketplaces - night market , antique shop , and online, it's difficult it seems to attain even 1% as that to selling on Christy and sotherbys i wonder what you think. Do you know the best way to get my newly found stuffs all without provenance , to be accepted by Christina's or Sotheby's?😂

香港名收藏家徐展堂先生曾說:古董文物在國際拍賣公司要買單價超過500萬以上的精品，因為現貨市場上買不到，至於500萬以下普品則不必到上國際拍賣公司購買，上國際拍賣公司購買的大都是新手。
資深藏家都知道大拍賣公司利潤多數來自精品佣金，其他普品只是應付其長期客戶所委託賣出，但得標者必須付佣金及加上保險費、運費、稅金等費用，付出金額比市價高很多。
個人認為收藏切忌來者不拒，什麼都收，雜亂無章，沒有目標，沒有主題，最後變成好像什麼都懂，但什麼都不精。收藏應有專題，個人的財力及精力都有限，一定要有目標，有主題，才能形成重點。
以上觀點為個人40年收藏經驗，提供有興趣藏友參考。

徐展堂先生為全球五大收藏家之列，投資世界各國事業致富，富可敵國，他於2010年去世，若依他的進入國際拍賣公司的高標準，以目前骨董行情應為十幾年錢的10倍價，也就是5000萬港幣，這實在不是一般非上市公司老闆所能接受的門檻。
個人認為收藏應按步就班，循序漸進，由普通到精品，由晚清往清中早期，由民窯到官窯，不可好高騖遠。因為收藏普羅大眾，財力終究是有限的，除非您有上市公司的後盾可以支撐。個人常在鑑寶節目看到一般薪水階級藏家，以幾十萬價格去國際拍賣公司買現貨價格不到十分之一行情的普品，實在令人心痛!

感謝你費心提供這麼多的意見，拍賣會或民間店家地攤各有不同的市場定位，也有不同的定價區間。拍賣會講究傳承有序，一方面保護他們自己買賣的客人收藏品買賣權益，自成一個圈子，也形成了一種保護壁壘，其實也是一種市場操作。
所以口袋夠深可以到大拍上去舉牌；民間的藏家只用比較低的價錢在民間收購，各有市場定位和樂趣，剛看個人的想法，沒有所謂的好壞之別！但大拍上的東西也不保真，最後還是要看自己的眼力！
