So sad to see such productions...unfortunately not too many artists have the strength to say NO and we end up with stuff like this.. very sad also that big opera houses produce such things...hope I ll be able to see a good opera in the future, but not sure.. I don t mind modern things, but write new productions do not destroy old ones😞
Am i the only one who questions wtf with the scenery? Really, astronauts and turning the subtle but seductive muzetta's waltz into a stripper singing? Sad what contemporary arts are doing to opera

Quizá, de maneras no vulgares y que respeten el POR QUÉ de un personaje. Una Musetta seductora ahora denigrada a la cosificación más evidente (en la misma aria hace mención a apenas enseñar algo el pie, algo que ya podía ser pornográfico en la época escrita). Un escenario con astronautas (wtf!). Ya bastante grotesco es el nefasto plagio del musical “Rent” 🤮. ¿Por qué ahora todo tiene que ser llevado a lo evidente? ¿De dónde sacan a los directores de ópera hoy día? Y antes de que alguien me venga a alegar desde lo subjetivo de su agrado personal: no, no está mal personificar a una stripper, lo que está pésimo es tergiversar la naturaleza de un personaje que es muy específico con su conducta por el autor (las partituras son no sólo música escrita, también son libretos, señores). Respetable sería una ópera nueva con personajes a los que se justifique el cantar en un tubo. Nos falta juicio como consumidores, para dejar de aplaudir esta clase de “adaptaciones”.
