  • The roof is finally going on. I’m not experienced in this so I am sure I do a lot wrong but the results are very good. Thanks for watching, I hope you can learn something and enjoy this video.

A few months back I found 1967 charger and bought it :) It was sitting in a barn for 35+ years. Zero rust. Picking up a fully built 440 this weekend for it.

Really good 👍 job on that..Definitely not easy to get it to look factory, that's for sure! My old bud (RIP)Marty the Mopar Man, and his family had these Chargers. 66 and 67's He had that black vinyl roof with a classic white paint looked awesome. Those were some overlooked cars as far as I'm concerned. Front and rear bucket seats, chrome all the way down the center. Fold down rear seats and access to trunk from the inside. Killer Jet style gas caps....Bulletproof 727 torqueflites, 440 Magnums. Bad ass machines! I think the vinyl roofs really set em off too.. Want to see alot of these cars at speed .✔ Checkout the movie SPEEDWAY 🎬. Mopars, and Elvis, and chick's.... O My! ( Leo D. Is upset your pops didn't get into the shots, he needs a break from all that pesky paparazzi) Chuckle Chuckle 😆

Great job! Is it possible to put the vinyl top on without taking the windshield and rear window out do you think? That's what I'd prefer to do on my '65 Thunderbird. Trim will have to come off, of course.
BTW, how did you get the "Charger" script and emblem on the roof "C" pillar off and back on for the vinyl top project? The Landau bar on my car is bigger and sturdier, but I still don't want to damage it...and I want it to go back on to fight tightly as it is now. Thanks.

Kaye NineTwo You might be able to do it with the glass in it but it’s recommend to remove it. The Charger badge had little pop clips holding it in and I very carefully pryed it off.
