Some inaccuracy: 1) Osoian Hides is bugged on "out of stock" since the first evo build of 4.0 from the current build of 4.0.1 in ptu, so technically that trading run cannot be done atm 2) The buy/sell location for Diamond Laminate are inverted 3) I think some of your % of profit margin are incorrect.
I think the money per SCU quickly gets more important than the margin. Just because you get "locked" by your cargo space rather quickly once you get a bit of money and it doesn't matter if you have less of a margin if the overall gain is a magnitude higher. And those are pretty interesting for starters. When you only have like 8 SCU of cargo space you can still do a good trade run with those commoditys.

The only thing I have been able to reliably accomplish in the 4.0_Preview is mining the asteroid belts of Stanton, and selling the raw ore at an L1 station. It's too unstable to risk refining the ore and transporting it to a planet to sell, and all Contracts fail more often than not.
I am waiting for 4.0.1 drops before trying again. I was trying to replicate in 4.0 and game kept crashing and hanging. ended up losing my ship and 1mil aeuc.
Looking at some of the comments and heated discussions in the last video, and watching this... I have some important information about your spreadsheet. It is dated material. You visited every site once, and when you went there, the prices reflect the state of trading at that time. For example, in a place that buys something, if a player had recently dumped a bunch of material there, then when you stop buy you see a lower price than they would have if they were out. So you need to account for how much of the material they already have in stock in your prices. UEX does that. Plus, it is contributed to regularly by many players so data is frequently being updated. It is a far more accurate tool than your dated spreadsheet that only you contributed to once. I hate to break it to you, but you reinvented the stone wheel after it had already been iterated on millions of times by other people.
These are base prices. All of them are base prices.. Also you are wrong, the spreadsheet is regularly updated and these updates are uploaded and put at the disposal of the VIP members... I'll keep the base prices but I do revisit these locations in my playthrough and add additional information like container sizes and we'll also have inventory information in the future. I'm sorry you feel that way about it, but I think that your opinion does not reflect on the reality. Also yes UEX does give updates prices BUT you have to search for it, rely on internet speed and you give your data too. My spreadsheet gets you everything instantly. I personally prefer spreadsheets over third party websites, that's why I made it, it's been a reliable source of information for my play sessions and I'm happily sharing it with the people who support me and via videos too.
@@Erad_Prime Well if you need any special functions or Macros written in VBA, let me know. My Office Software may still be Office 2016, but I'm sure anything I write in there can be imported into whatever modern version you are using. Personally, I probably would have went with an Access Database so I could use relational tables and design user friendly forms, but to each their own.

the pvp in pyro makes the old gameplay loops more exciting, even just regular cargo missions have more flair in pyro

Problem with most of these locations is that they are popular for PVP/Griefers and Murder Hobos
What's the most popular, up-to-date commodity tracking website these days? I'm a couple of years behind.
I stopped following them because I don't like having to do searches and they dont give me the info I need.
Good tips, just very risky.
