Always nice to see luka playing Nurgle. I know he doesn't like them as much as mortals, to be the best is massed plaguebearers with the heroes that buff them like the bilepiper or scrivner. Those are the most fun to watch for me.
It's not even that custom anti-ko list. Rather typical nurgle list. And if ko gets screwed by anti-ca abilities seeing how those are becoming more common then it's major flaw in ko book and needs to be highlighted
The poor Doc was having the worst luck dispelling those endless spells. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if the geminids and blades had been dispelled.

I didn’t get a good view on the Gunhauler, but the frigate is named (roughly) Dependable and the Ironclad is (roughly) the Golden Queen. Though my Khazalid is a little rusty.

What you are referencing is the first bullet point that just says, "Embarked units are still treated as being on the battlefield. Range and visibility are measured to and from the TRANSPORT VESSEL in which the unit is embarked. In addition, for the purposes of determining visibility, models in an embarked unit are treated as models that can fly." The third bullet point is what matters here, "Models in an embarked unit cannot contest objectives." The first bullet point is there so the units embarked can be interacted with. Without that rule clarification, they would not be able to be targeted by anything that must target a unit on the battlefield as the unit would not be on the battlefield
GG. Luka, I am happy to see any Chaos Mortals(Not Daemons). S2D, MaggotKin, Blades, Hedonites, Disciples. Although I would like Disciples to get mortal troops more akin to Chaos Knights and Warriors, which there are some great kitbashing opportunities for that. I would love to come out to play, I just can't. Y'know the whole being on Camera and meeting new people thing is a real issue for me.
i believe because the blightkings have the "characteristic" of 4 wounds and the leaders wounds characteristic would technically still be 4 but with a +1 modifier for being a leader. For example Ravenaks gnashing jaws has damage based on the difference of 3D6 and the enemy move characteristic which can be effected by nurgles cloying quagmire since it does effect the move characteristic but if you use an effect that only states movement is slowed then it would not help the damage of ravenaks gnashing jaws. hopefully thats makes sense but these rules are so complicated lol
Much cheaper IMO. I mean, you still kinda pay to win, but it isn’t as bad. The Flesh eater starter army is only 90 bucks and some of the models alone are just beautiful.
I would play with you if my army was painted, and I wasn't smack-dab in the middle of Kansas. :P I'll always watch KO matches because those are my Duardin!
The KO list wasn’t optimized and it doesn’t help that Luka was increasing the disease dice at the end of the move phase when his units weren’t in range to increase the disease dice. If the KO list was built differently he’d have more command points and more movement shenanigans
@@katarhall3047 someone responded to a different comment that I had on a different thread. I guess he was playing a Subfaction that have disease points from endless spells which were causing the seemingly random disease points to build up. My comment on the KO I still stand by though. With a more optimal list the KO player would have been able to use the new commands more frequently. He needed to take his sky wardens and run and charge in the same turn with his skywardens and endrinriggers to put a bunch of damage in, then let them get the free retreat at the end of combat. He missed a lot of damage opportunities just trying to be a gunline and shoot out of the boats without ever charging anything
I know they’re the “main” battle line unit… but personally I try to minimize the amount of argonauts I use because grungni’s beard their profile it atrocious! And personally it doesn’t look like much has really changed to alter my opinion.
So when counting drops, if units deploy inside the boats, they don't count for your drop total!? Please someone second this so I can confidently drop this knowledge in my next game 😅
They do count for your drop total. Under embarking it has what you are looking for. "During deployment, instead of setting up a SKYFARER unit on the battlefield, you can say that it is embarked in a friendly TRANSPORT VESSEL that is already on the battlefield. If you do so, place that SKYFARER unit to one side." Only way to have less drops is to take a battle regiment core battalion for a one drop.
@@Jack-qi1eu So this was just a misplay here for them, then? Note at 11:37ish they describe this list as 3 drops because every time a skyvessel goes down, the units within it go down as well (and do no count toward the drop count).

How it actually works is the boat has to go down first, then instead of setting up on the battlefield, the unit embarks. A unit is counted as being embarked until after it is deployed. There were a few in the batrep like having embarked units contest objectives. Only the transport vessels and anything on the ground count.
Bringing the other guy in to moderate on the cocked dice was ridiculous. It was obviously cocked, then because he rerolled a six you tried to ask him whether he should take the reroll or not... really poor to see such petty behaviour on such a large channel.
If you play the correct sky port you get an extra command point, your admiral gets to give the flagship a command for free every turn, and you can run the new hero to get up to 2 additional command points on each of your hero phases. Really the command thing isn’t a big deal because of how many command points you can generate and having the free command per turn from the admiral.

It's actually basically the same list he used against Daughters a month ago in Ep167. I was super disappointed by the lack of list variety.

How did you make your units counting on objectives while they are inside the boat?
The rules for the boats say they count as being on the ground for all rule purposes.

The FAQ did specify that if a unit has multiple wound characteristics you go off the one on the scroll. Bkings can join veterans.
Is the Cost / points much higher in AoS in general compared to 40k? it seems cheaper in $?

So if he had access to the nurgle list ahead of time, is it a mistake then to deploy with all the units on the boats?

Disease points only go up if the nurgle unit is with 3” of an enemy at the end of the movement and combat phase.
