I had thought that the character Mephistopheles sang this one on the album, but having the spirit Fate sing it instead is an interesting change! It works both ways imo, she sang it beautifully but I also like the dark, threatening tone of the male version.
Just a little friendly reminder to The Guitar Legend's Steve Vai, that please focusing on your good guitar riffs and i shall irithmicaly interact with her define attractively beautiful looking; then we, both Steve i will slowly; romantically and emotionally map the best of our skills to secure or treasure surprisingly, stuntingly arouse my blue emotion or oththought tha
On the album, yes a man sang it. TSO does that a lot. During the last several Christmas tours whenever they did "Music Box Blues", they had a woman sing it even though the late great Daryl Pediford sang it on the album.
This shred fest gave this song life. The studio version sounds so pre-rehearsed and is far too short. I suppose it's fitting for TSO's style, but when they play live, especially Al, he always improvised his solos and makes them 10x better than what he or the other Guitarist played on the record
She might sing well, but not for this kind of music. Sorry, but I prefer the male voice as it puts way more power and emotion into the song. She is just... meh.
On this song, maybe. But Georgia is one the best vocalists out there, and certainly in TSO. Her voice fits in with TSO's music very fittingly. Zak Stevens is better and I would agree his voice would have been more fitting for this song, but he is the only male Vocalist whose voice fits this song and since he wasn't apart of this tour, none of the guys who were there would have made it sound any better. Georgia was the 2nd best option from the singers they brought on tour
One of the top 5 greatest guitar solos ever.
Amazing guitar tone... Extremely underrated and under appreciated guitarist- Al
The anticipation of an Al Pitrelli guitar solo... My favorite part.

I personally like fates version. There's just something about it that hits different
That guitar solo was top notch. I do enjoy seeing TSO every year. :D
SOME BIG ASS!
Georgia could sing the damn phone book and it would sound fantastic!
Jeff killing it on the drums on this song! and AL murdering his strings!
Great job Stacey.......looks as though you enjoyed your road trip. Time to take a look at some more of you videos....thank you for sharing.
Where have I heart this guitar solo before??
Love this band beautiful
Beautiful voice
Perfect.
Amazing - so much talent!
I like it
I like this better than the original.
Regarding the comments by Felsteelus, mgdarenz, haider ismael, charmednpc & recacon. Isn't a Muse always personified as a beautiful women?
Yes it's always a woman.
Love:3

so they changed vocalists on the cd and tour. I thought a man did this one

its my opinion, but i more much like when man sings that song
This woman 's name........???
+havy lemon Georgia Napolitano
^^
Georgia Neapolitano,I think
...but to me it"s just the witch and the vampire
...I can even forgive them for having stolen the solo from"the storm"(savatage, from themseves)Pitrelli is good
floydian
I like the studio guitar solo much better than this shred fest. And the vocals are good but I still prefer the studio dude's vocals.

great version but I do miss that dark threat of the original, sounds a bit to friendly now.
This man killed TSO... (((

zack stevens did it way better
He must have been on the other TSO country side.
No, he isn't with TSO anymore
Well, he wasn't 32 weeks ago. Now he is.
This just cannot even come close to Zak's vocals. No, no, and NO!
