My review on Allmusic written August 10, 2018. 3 Stars War Nation is Tank's second album in the post Algy Ward era. While an improvement over their previous album, War Machine, it still bears absolutely no resemblance to the classic and punishing Tank vibe. War Nation is a bit tougher than War Machine but is no better than likeable Metal that sounds like so many other bands that are middle to lower tier. They do punch out some interesting riffs but do yourself a favor and pick up Tank's first three or four albums to see what all the fuss was about.
You hit the nail on the head , old Tank fucking rocks , this is more along the lines of run of the mill average metal 💣💥☠🖤Honour and Blood is what i call heavy metal 👌 ✌
@@jackdarbyshire5888 Well said Jack. The first 2 are in that "very best LPs of the era" category and albums 3 and 4 are just a tad below but still 2 of the better albums from the 80's. "The War Drags Ever On"!!
