  • Doing it on a hot day on my 1st track day this year. Was so much fun, this V4R is such a dream to ride.
Day was so hot I did not use tire warmers to enable myself to take it easy as I get to know the bike and the OEM DOT tires.
Had to say thank you to Dave Moss at the end of the session for his magic touch makes for so much fun riding so effortlessly.
Loving full retirement at 62 years old weeeee!~

Your very welcome, I turn 63 in October. Following you was good for helping me to break in the V4R. 🥰

Watching you baby the V4R while going faster than me around Thill East is crazy! Hoping to pick up more time in the future!

Thank you, brother, I appricaite you and you will get there just don't try to do it all at once, when I used to instruct for FTD I would always say take baby steps conquer 1 at a time and eventually you will become smooth because smooth = speed and if you try to go fast to start off with all your doing is fighting yourself then you become tired and stiff, be relaxed, breathe and focus on chosing the smooth lines so that you're not fighting.

Was wondering why was it still so slow at 4th gear then realised its in mph 😂

Interesting how the rev counter lights up around 8k rpm. My V4R doesn’t do that

Yes, it's because I am in the redline so to speak since it is in the break-in period, and I was trying not to get into it for a long time. The bike ecu is wide open with the full exhaust upmap. I am going through all the gears and trying to be in a higher speed which is why I am in 6th gear or normally I would be taching the hell out of her. This is a break-in for me as well since she is non-op and this track day was my test ride to feel her out.
      🤙

@@josel.sanchez2531 ah got it. I didn’t realize it was still in the break in period. Makes sense! Enjoy the bike. They are amazing machines.
