I was in 35 sce for reservist training. Remembered we stayed those very old barracks. The roofs all have talisman all over. Tmr we going for exercise so no book out. One by one, people claim they were pin down unable to move while in bed. Many of us still awake and witness at least 10 from different bunks but side by side people jumping down from the top bunk etc. The whole company assembled below and request for OC to booked out. At 9:40, when Alwin Sensei talks about the cookhouse. Want to add a little bit of context of the building from my time there (June 2010 - April 2012). So if you picture yourself standing inside the cookhouse building in the middle, to your far left end is behind the SADA Parade Square, to your far right end is beside this long curvy road that is next to the Muslim cookhouse and a small rubbish dumpster shed next to it. The cookhouse shortcut leads you to a wooden gate entrance that leads you outside to a ''rectangular looking carpark'' followed by a 2 story British colonial looking building in front of the carpark occupied by Support Company. Next to it in the middle is the Seletar GYM that has glass panels all around it. Sometimes when I book in late (10:45pm - 11:30pm). I will go through the old guardhouse, cut through this long windy path that has the SADA Bunks around SADA parade square and tall old looking trees behind the cookhouse with very long Scarecrow looking branches. I too also heard the radio Buddhist chants ''tok tok tok tok etc'' being played most of the time (2010 - 2011) before it was shifted to the newly constructed cookhouse building. You could also see an alter in red with joss sticks in it. Quite creepy la when I think of this. Lucky didn't see anything dirty but can feel your hair about to stand.
35 SCE is the place where I had seen the most snakes ever! We capture few meters long Cobra that frightened me 😂will never forget when I wanted to go close to the big cobra
97 - 99. 35SCE Driver. Stayed in MT Line, stayed in Boat Coy top floor middle room. Nothing. Never felt uncomfortable before. Have nv heard of anybody say anything.
Most "ghost stories" are retellings passed down from the generations like playing telephone line, until they become exaggerated, embellished & distorted. Very few, if ever, have personal experiences.
Top floor had 2 rows of rooms. The haunted one was not exactly in the middle. If I recall correctly, it was 3rd or 4th room away from the cookhouse end of the block, facing Johor. I was told it was haunted because one of the drivers or storemen kept toyol in the bunk. Saw one incident there when I was on course. The medium in my batch talked to the ghost the next morning.
Was at HQ Coy at 35SCE fr 1990 to 1992. Used to walk alone late at night (could be 1 or 2am) fr Boat Coy, washing point, slipway or 1183 to HQ bunk after providing medic cove for training. Heng I didn't encounter anything but it can be pretty scary if you are the type whose easily scared or has a more sensitive body. Whatever it is, nice to see so many fellow buayas here. Miss the camp and wish i can go back for a visit.
Me... 35sce 91-93 stayed blk 1183 then 353sce till 2006. Speaking bout eerie encounters... Prowler checkpoint 4 at wetgap b4 turning into restricted site. Other than that... Old trg wing hangers area, Old HQ coy bunk, behind 471 canteen.
Curious of the year when you were in BMT in Tekong. I was lost in Tekong forest on Thursday night in BMT before. I went to Seletar camp for typing course then.
my homeground too, top flr bunk for plant/driver got red string around perimeter, once you cross the perimeter even in daylight your goosebump all fallin ... but tekong old camp was worse la ... guard duty under the water tank near the cookhouse, not just goosebump you feel the fear.
@@jenhwa71 the medium in my batch pasted talisman paper on the door and in the locker of the haunted bunk. This was way back in 1988. The bunk was locked up after that and wasn't used for the rest of my NSF time there. I probably should have gone up to take a look after I became reservist in the same camp, but the camp changed a lot over the years. I would be less welcomed in Boat Coy than the spirit in the bunk by then!
35 SCE Boat Coy 1988-1990. Yah, the camp is dirty!! I was wondering when Supernatural Confessions going to do one video on it! The chain on the top floor of Boat Coy block?
@@SupernaturalConfessions you remember that?? Haha! I was told, if you pull the chain across the staircase, you will see something appear in front of you. That floor, one of the bunks was haunted.
@@JNJN7686 haha! In my time, all engineer sections (that I was aware of) had to do 18 chin ups before every meal. There was a practical reason for this. Because we all had to be able to carry at least 35kg in each arm (if I recall correctly). Boats and OBMs were heavy!
I was from Seletar Camp from 2006-2008 before it was revamped. Still remember St Martin Lane/battersea rd to dog unit. Really will sweat when doing prowler duty....not coz of ghost but really long walk. Don't remember any buddhist chantings at cookhouse though. Part of guard duty is to join the roving duties to the last lamp post in teletubby land.
During ICT we had to stay in but we were at former SADA bunk like 18:33 that area. Scary shit place. One bunk was completely sealed off for some reason. Anyone know why? Windows shut, door locked and masking tape pasted over the door in a big X.
I was in bravo 2004 mono intake. Many weird experiences but one that still leaves a mark today is the use of one of the MPH. It was night training and CAT 1, so they opened up the MPH for the first time. I was on attend b that day so when time comes for water parade everyone ran for the toilet tap, with me being one of the last few. Note that The toilet lights were not working, but I was certain that there is someone still filling the water bottle beside meWhen I came out , sergeant asked “ underage! Any more people inside?!” I replied” yes sergeant! 1 more!” He shouted into the toilet: “eh hurry up la!”…. No reply. He turned and ask: “ underage you sure or not?” . I replied “yes sergeant!” He shouted once more: “ anyone inside?!!” …. Utter silence… he looked at me and I looked at him…. We took a peek into the toilet.. absolutely no one… we turned around and got out of there as fast as we could… I still get goosebumps when I recall this incident. And yes my nickname was underage as I was enlisted at the age of 17…. On a side note, the story about the officer posession… did this happened in 2005?
I went to seletar camp during te 70s for my signala's course walking to n fro during reaching n departing tis area i notice alot of disturbance, towards my journey i was not afraid of ghost, only inte movies tey attack us but real life tey actualy afraid of us, tey lived n died there so tey r there roming te place, that swimming pool te guy mention i n my buddies sneak there to swim 2 or 3am but that time british familys frequented te place during te day times anyway dnt be afraid of ghost,u dint kill them or tey dind die because of u so why be afraid just ptetend u dint see them, i am 72yrs old now
I was at 35SCE for almost one year. It's an old camp that is super creepy. Very depressing to be there one cos everything is old and alot of shouting cos most/ all are mono intake... Quite a culture shock for someone from Tekong BMT.
I loved Seletar Camp! The breezes at Boat Coy, the wide open spaces, can walk/run and keep fit. The amazing food (especially the sambal chili that the canteen in front of Boat Coy had!). We even had a cute gift shop just outside the gate where you could get your uniform patched or altered! And of course, Jalan Kayu roti prata, although I didn't get much chance to eat that last time.
I was in 35CSE from 1998 onwards in Seletar camp, never saw anything I would term Supernatural. Had a few odd experience, but never what I would say confirmation.
Had been there for a rather long time, but never really seen anything described, though had experience some unusual incidence. I had even swam in that swimming pool. The 35 SCE RSM then was Inche Alan.
Sorry to correct you, the most haunted is not that (Bravo) it is the old boat company (3rd floor). Alwin - it was your 2 week of BMT at 35 SCE bravo company. I know because I was the duty officer of 35 SCE that night I was there, I handle that incident.
35 sce kosong story. Butta SOCE at jurong west extesion was scary like shit....most of the incidents happened there. Including chin up deaths happen b4 and after our batch
oh !!!!! yes ..... was told the GD CARPENTER'S STORE was haunted too..... i did BMT in Sembawang ITD..... my bunk with 10 of us inside was haunted too !!!! anybody else experienced the haunting there ?? Seletar Camp was really haunted....confirmed.
I was from 39 SCE. We used to go to 35 there for this rare annual long run along the river. Swear to you that i don't like those trees there. That area is under-utilised.. low human traffic.. I don't know how to describe... It's definitely a place i dont wanna pass through at night. Thank god we ran past wearing our gas masks (i think) Haha. 😅. So maybe cannot totally see anything or feel the vibe there.
Seletar Camp is very close to the old Seletar Country Club, right? Anyone had any spooky experiences at that country club??… I’m very curious because I went there every week when I was a kid.
you need to shower with flower water, seems like your "luck" is low. For Buddhist chants, it is meant to calm the souls, as such it will attract them to the chant. If the chant is missing, the souls which had used to it may not feel comfortable anymore, hence the disturbance whenever the prayer machine isn't working.
Talk cock sing song about Buaya Battalion haha ... The officers club house with water front view, the famous prata store outside seletar camp, the freaky Ammo dump, yeah guarding that ammo dump was so freaky, even the RP and their guard dog didnt go to the end bit of the area during night petrol, the RP said their dogs would refuse to go there, so they petrol only to guard tower and turn around. Never saw any dirty thing just heard lots of stories, most scary was the toilet at the old colonial building beside the guard house of the camp entrance its near the cookhouse as well. A seargent went to toilet at night washed his face at the sink, then lifted his head to look at the mirror and saw an old lady's face instead of his, freaked out and fainted, we tried the widgy board one night with joss sticks the green stalk ones somemore, waited till 12am in corner of our bunk and nothing at all. So for some its super haunting for some its just a camp clear air relax surrounding
@@usqaiki Near cookhouse? Could be Boat Coy! Yeah, the 2nd floor toilet-shower above the armskote was well-known for the washer woman with no feet! My section commander saw her once when we were on duty during Hungry Ghost month! Typically, we would avoid using that toilet during 7th month.
@@pascalcym Yes yes.. i have this experience before. i went to the toliet cause urgent then saw this old lady keep washing some clothes and worse is the lights could not turn on.
I was at seletar cco. The whole seletar was patrol by us. I drive our RP to Those place. I went to 35SCE, 160sada, 1st guard and other transport unit there. Seletar camp are eerie 😅
Real experience in 35 SCE - I was there in 1978 to 1980 after my BMT. One day I was free at about 10 am, I went to the canteen in the East Camp next to my Alpha block. I took a drink and then went to play at the space invader machine next to the NCO mess. I was so intense in the game and halfway after losing 2 rounds… I heard a voice behind me asking me how many more I want to play… I turn around and saw the RSM behind me. He asked me again how many ‘takes’ I want. I forgot it was working hour and he asked me to ‘take 3’ meaning 3 extra duties! I had to perform weekend guard duties for 3 weekends after that :)
Was this the old building, before the recent demolition and rebuild? There was suicide there when I was an NSF. In my time, 35 SCE training was really tough. It was really sad. All the commanders had to go thru counseling course after that.
@@rosabel.y it’s the body of the Muslim dead wrapped in burial shroud that became a pocong as its knots were not untied at burial. Hence it appears all bundled up with the ends of the shroud tied at the top of the head. The ones in movies are depicted as hopping but according to Indonesian folklore, real Pocongs float and don’t hop. While most act alone, it’s apparently not uncommon to find them huddled together in a colony. They particularly like to hide in banana tree clumps. I will add this is a Malay ghost, not Arabic.
@tinateh oh thank u for the explanation...banana trees...i have heard that ghosts and these things like to hide in banana trees...i asked my parents to remove the one on our property when i used to live in malaysia😅
I did my NS at 36 SCE between 2000 - 2002. Saw and experienced some eerie stuff there during that time. Its a well known issue that the commander's mess is haunted by at least 2 spirits (standing order that nobody is to be in there alone after 11 pm) and there is an area where lights fail frequently, regardless if its installed or hand carried ones. I did my Reservist at 39 SCE. For the most part, I didn't see or experience anything but I had campmates that did.

I think it requires a different mindset. For me, I will personally die and fight for what I believe is mine to protect and I take ownership of the country that I was born and raised in. The government ain’t that bad, all things considered. I travel around the world but my heart is here at home. If I don’t fight to defend my home, then I’m letting someone else waltz in to take that from me. So for me at least, it’s not just accepting of fate, but rather a choice I’m willing to make. The alternative is to drop my citizenship and call some place else home.

But by the time I reached my 5th ICT.. the camp gate got shifted back further.. new BMT style accommodations and buildings got built.. multi story heavy vehicle parking spaces for the rovers, wreckers, etc... Many things changed from old to new.. and I got to see it... by that time... I don't think got such weird incidents anymore
Tekong case the commanders sure kena charged gao gao, maybe even DB? Simple thing like headcount never do, how to fight real war? SAF is seriously a wayang organization which is only good for organizing NDP, Army Half Marathon, support commercial Air Shows, etc. Shiny, expensive, high tech weapons don't win wars. Just ask the Americans in Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc.
My Taiwan ghost story. Ghost possession. I went to Taiwan for my brigade exercise during my two years National Service. It was during one exercise by brigade slept overnight at the cemetery on the slope of a mountain After midnight one of a soldier saw a white long hair girl walking up the slope and started going from one soldier to another and looking at each soldier. When come to his turn he got scared and started screaming waking some of us. After I wrote my story in the comment,a girl write to said her father got possessed after he came back from training in Taiwan and she was wandering if he was the one of the same batch as me. She said her father happened to sleep on a open grave and he might get possessed by the ghost. His father had high fever and sick for a long time he was cured by a temple medium.

@@SupernaturalConfessions Lol. That sergeant who forewarned them against mishandling their torchlights probably had already instilled in them suspense and fear. Anything that seemed out of ordinary in the dark got to be associated with the paranormal? It’s probably the work of our subconscious mind whereby it tends to seek out anything that aligns with our imaginations. For example, would you ever think you’re going to see a ghost in your intimate moments with your spouse? Or how about now that the both of you are on a chilling tour at Halloween Nights? Which scenario would a higher chance of seeing one?

Actually very nice place.

小倩 hopping from trees to trees haha
Thank you for sharing this
Seletar Camp & Orchid Country Club both built on old malay cemeteries.

97 - 99. 35SCE Driver.

For the rest of us who have no idea...what is a pocong?
@@rosabel.y it’s the body of the Muslim dead wrapped in burial shroud that became a pocong as its knots were not untied at burial. Hence it appears all bundled up with the ends of the shroud tied at the top of the head. The ones in movies are depicted as hopping but according to Indonesian folklore, real Pocongs float and don’t hop. While most act alone, it’s apparently not uncommon to find them huddled together in a colony. They particularly like to hide in banana tree clumps. I will add this is a Malay ghost, not Arabic.

It seems like singaporean men accept their fate to serve and perhaps die in their service. I definitely won't want this for my sons.
