The Celestials are a class of Monsters consist of twelve species originating from Dawn of Fire. They cannot breed, nor can they be bred. Instead, they need to be zapped by eggs from other islands into the dormant Celestials on Celestial Island. Once you have zapped enough eggs of each species required in to a Celestial, you can revive it. In their dormant forms, Celestials do not produce Currency, nor do they contribute to the Island's song in any way. Once they are revived, however, they begin singing and producing several different types of currency (allowing for Diamond Farms), and they are no longer in statue form.

i really love vhamp's piano organ sound on celestial. she sounds so pretty, same with starhenge. and with galvana too, her voice is really soothing, even on the rootitootoot part.

The comparison! You can see the how tired they are in DoF and even the oldness and decay it's such a sad feeling.
But the torrt continues to vibe with its drums even as it ages.

I just noticed that the resting animations on Starhenge are the same in the MSM Celestial Island when you buy the Celestials
And I've always loved the Celestials ever since I was introduced to them
(Galvana being my favorite)

Fun fact: the design of the celestials in DoF is actually the design of the rocked versions of MSM celestials like the design is based off the un revived celestials in MSM
The DoF celestials were released first, so the MSM designs are actually based on the DoF ones.

It's kinda sad seeing the celestials in DOF old and almost dying and in MSM we need to revive them
i honestly doubt theyre almost dying, considering they are the CELESTIALS whod watch over the worlds elements and monsters

This video is just incredible. The amount of time to compare every single detail between them. I didn't know their sleeping animations in DoF were the positions they had when the turned into stone, so maybe their island collapsed while they were sleeping or something 🤷

I remembered myself playing my singing monsters dawn of fire, the way I got my first celestial it was the hornacle. I was so happy by my first celestial, but after 1 year I stopped playing this game, since it wasn't interesting for me anymore. I'm still missing my hornacle. Right now, watching this video, I'm taking a nostalgia..

my theory is the celestials were old and they live in the Starhenge, maybe, some accident happened causing starhenge to fall and the celestials also fall to they're deaths, celestial island were borned, but wave 1 had only a few celestials meaning the other celestials dead body were covered in sand untill they were found..
i think the bodies of limited time or limited time discounts for the celestials has to do with some kind of star starhenhge thing when the stars line in a specific order
Basically starhenge existed long before everything and a meteor hit starhenge training the monsters into stone and keep sending it crashing down when finally in the distant future it hit down creating celestial Island you are correct on the reasoning for their being waves and the reason that was discounted because of the stars aligning

I think Furnoss is my favourite kid Celestial. I don't know why, I just love his design, and how he looks genuinely unsure of playing his drums, seeing as he can't remember his past life.

Yeah, it's all part of the lore, because, when the starhenge fell, they petrified(literally), and in msm, when you wake them up, they become babies(has no sense, but if you think about it, yeah, it's very funny and cute 💞💞💞)
When you revive them they sorta like rebirth

My favorites on each islands
Starhedge: Scaratar. Loodvig. Galvana.
First of all scaratar starts the wholes song and loodvigs other part sounds like something from a horror movie. Galvanas vocals are just very needed for me to even
listen to the song
Celestial island: all of them. No explanation needed (mabye). All are good Attomz carrys the middle part. Glaishurs vocal part is really good. Syncopite is really good when playing along with Loodvig. Blassom and scaratar just make a good duet. Furnoss percussion sounds really good with the bang kind of sound. Vhamp is just so important to the song with that 3D kind of effect. Plixe just makes the middle part my favorite. Loodvigs second part just sounds so good. Torrt starts the part where attmoz plays and fits well. Galvana just does an amazing job at keeping the Glaishur part good.

In the lore, the celestials are already old and ancient in DoF times, and close to death. Their island, starhenge, fell from the skies and landed on a colossal's head at some point, leaving their statues. In MSM, you're reviving them from their ancient statues.

The whole “dawn of fire takes place in the past” was confirmed when the game was released, so it’s also confirmed that celestial island is the starhenge.

Yeah Starhenge was hit by a meteor which turned the monsters into stone, it hit a Collosal which caused it to turn into Celestial Island

The Celestials died and became statues from DoF to the normal MSM (DoF takes place way before MSM) which caused the Starhenge to crash down and becoming the Celestial Island, and now you must revive them (they come back as babies)
