For those that are wondering! JD Vance is one of the newly elected Senators in Ohio.
Republicans are in danger of losing the Midwest (Ohio included) with the events between 2020-2024. Democrats have made very large strides in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio.
Choosing Vance ensures they he will have a much higher voter turnout in all these state (including Pennsylvania) and hopefully North Carolina.
All states he needs to win in order to win.
