YES! Your connections are often warm leads. So many people forget about this. That's why being consistent with posting and creating engaging content is so important. It opens up the opportunity to speak directly to your ideal audience and begin to build real realtionships and TRUST.
Thank you for this and all of your other videos which I have been binge-watching for two days now. I'm new to LinkedIn and need to really understand the best way to make it work for my business. I watched and gave up on quite a few others' tutorials before deciding yours hit the spot. You come over as authentic, knowledgable and truly helpful.
Fantastic presentation...I have just come up with a digital marketing company and this presentation will go a long way to help me plan my LinkedIn strategy. Thanks Natasha..Good luck to you in all your endeavour
One of the most relevant videos regarding LinkedIn. Thanks for the guidance. If I wasn't unemployed and about to become homeless due to Coronavirus, I'd figure out a way to work with you. I wish I'd come across this sooner.
Sean, your comment here struck a nerve for me, have you figured out a way to avoid becoming homeless by now? If not, maybe we can connect and see if I can help you somehow.
Thanks for your effort to assist people like myself. Just getting started with LinkedIn as a marketing tool and appreciate your insights. This is a great primer...exactly what I needed when attempting to deal with "drinking from a fire hose" of information on getting started!
Its finally time to get serious about social media strategies and utilizing tools like LinkedIn. This video was very insightful along with many others of yours. My goal is to become more disciplined in using these tools and becoming more recognized on these platforms.
Thank you for this training on LinkedIn. You are inspiring, knowledgeable, and professional. I appreciate and will utilize your expertise. I am brand new to LinkedIn, I have congenital cataracts rendering me legally blind. I have been surfing the net for any information I can find regarding LinkedIn. Yours has been most helpful!
My goals for 2020 are to actually win some business from Linked in. I've been on it for ever, and get good engagement, I have an SSI of 82. As a business and personally we write blogs and post regularly but can still not say 100% I have ever billed a penny from Linked in.
Thats awesome! Engagement doesn't mean much for your income unless it's the right kind 😁. I wish you the best of luck - let me know how it goes & hopefully my videos will help!
Hi Natasha. First thx for sharing your knowledge. As you said, one of your strategies is to direct messaging people on LinkedIn, I just want to ask what you think about the GDPR in the EU in the context of contacting people via “electronic mail”. As far as I know, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (implemented in 2018) does not allow to contact potential customers directly via “electronic mail” which in my point of view, also affects LinkedIn, etc. (and not only the classic e-mail). A double-opt-in process would be required to get permission for contacting any person, who is not in your contact list. How would you deal with that on platforms like LinkedIn? Thanks in advance.
Thanks Natasha, I found that really helpful and especially appreciated the lack of sound effects and screen flipping I found on others' videos. I switched them all off! Thanks goodness I found you. I am a self employed individual in the arts just making my way really and so looking to attract funding and partnerships rather than 'a job'. Any advice?
Thank you, Natasha, for an informative video. I am new to LinkedIn and my goal is to learn how to use the platform correctly and most effectively. I am feeling overwhelmed right now, but will watch your other videos as well to find my feet.
My goals for linked in: short term I am trying to advertise myself for the next step in my career (which I think is educational sales). Long term: build a personal brand that builds trust among prospects so they reach out to me for help (lead generation)..... and I suppose that first goal is a long term goal as well- to continue to move myself upward as employers see value in my work / content.
It's up to you to be honest! As long as they are relevant it will be useful, just don't overdo it. And I would also say that using anchor links would be more useful for SEO and increasing your followers
This was insightful and along the lines of what Gary Vee will teach. Trying to run social for our clinic and wanting to hammer Linkedin, so will be posting more content and looking to build a stronger network for us! Thank you!

Your Videos are good. You should use condense microphones, it will better your audio quality and reduce the echo your experiencing when making youtube videos. Also try to use quiet rooms like libraries or bedrooms because there's less acoustics due to the bed in the room. Try it you'll see :) I'm learning a lot from your linkedin videos! Keep making more videos like this you're doing great Natasha!
Hi Natasha! Your video was pretty useful! Thank you. My goals this year are to create more content to reach the people I wanna reach and to create traffic from LinkedIn to my website.
Greetings from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 Natasha you've given me alot to think about. I'm not sure if we have social media experts in country and if we do I'm not sure where I would start. Thank you so much!
Considering joining LinkedIn, but the platform seems so bland and safe. Are we able to add pizzazz inorder to build our personal online brand or does that go against the social norms of the platform?
This was great, I have a page of notes! I am struggling to know what to do as I have a business development job that I promote through LinkedIn but I want to launch my own separate business, how do I approach this on my page if I need to promote both? Any quick advice would be greatly appreciated
Amazing, glad you found it valuable! I would add a second company page and just structure your profile in a way that shows a clear distinction between each business and which audience it appeals to :)
Hey guys - is there a way to reassign recommendations if i delete a previous role? Seems like it was possible to do many years ago but not sure now.. Thanks in advance.
What's your opinion posting as a page or a person. I've found that I get so much better results from my private page vs company page. Literally testing same exact post. I know the business page you can have ads etc, but it's like hitting a wall on engagement with the company page, organic is mad on personal page. What's your opinion?
Awesome Video! Enjoyed your style very much! I will have to curate my own profile, create my description and then continue to creating content. My question would be, regarding the content creation, do you mean the articles one can write on LinkedIn, or writing a post is also considered content creation? I am definitely going to watch more of your videos!
@@NatashaVilaseca Oh sweet lemonade! Thank you for your reply. I immediately updated my Linkedin profile and getting new leads. You are so beautiful. Thanks for the advice Natasha! I have never posted anything on LinkedIn and I am wondering how to start doing it! Do you think is better to create content about myself first or just start with content curation?
Hi Thanks for your videos. I am into stainless steel kitchenware hotelware and petware export so what is the best way to write my headline and to reach out more clients specially importers in my industry
Hi Natasha, excellent information here. I found the part about sharing content especially useful. I'm still learning my way around LinkedIn and am not sure about some of the "rules." When curating "sharing" content, do you need to get permission from the person that created it originally? Or is it okay to share as long as you list them as the author? I want to make sure I don't make a LinkedIn faux pas!
What kind of madness is this? True transparency with actionable content?! What a find you are! Goals; to specifically target my connections to my field of service, to generate interesting and relevant content, to learn how to integrate LinkedIn and Instagram and TH-cam and how to streamline how I work with these three to be organized and efficient, All while selling B2B.. Making an achievable plan and time line to name a few.
Thank you, Natasha, for your tips - very useful!. Any suggestions to help me target my specific niche audience? I coach international and non-native-English speaking executives in business communication and leadership (i.e., business writing, presentation skills, clear speaking/accent reduction, and leadership across culture and language boundaries.) Should I tag/appeal to human resource professionals or connect with individuals that may (or may not) need my services?
My pleasure, I am glad you found the video useful! For any specific traits you can't target using the sales nav / free linkedin search features, I would recommend identifying a few ideal client profiles (maybe current client profiles) and take a look at the keywords/phrases they use in the profile. You can then use this info to run a boolean search! Here's an article you might find useful: www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/75814/using-boolean-search-on-linkedin?lang=en
@@NatashaVilaseca Thank you so much for your quick response! I will read the article, actually re-read it as the first time all the instructions went right over my head... it's new territory for me and much to learn!
