I can't find it anywhere... Was halfdan related to Ragnarok lothbrook? I've never seen anything that says that... However, somewhere in here Ragnarok is mentioned... Can you answer the question for me please?
I don't believe this Halfdan the Black was related to Ragnar Lodbrok. I'm told that the Vikings TV show may have made this up or something. But this Halfdan was the father of Harald Fairhair. Also, Halfdan was a somewhat common name meaning Half-Dane or Half Danish.
Yes... this particular halfdan is King Harolds father.. you are absolutely correct... it was a question my daughter has been asking... Anyways, thank you
