    Great video! Thanks for the recommendations. Maybe I'll get out to Joshua Tree sometime. Your video makes it look like a very interesting and fun place to visit.

    Such a helpful video! We frequent all of these places as well. Our favorite burger is at The Heyday in Palm Springs. We are in Painted Hills between PS and JT - so we go into Palm Springs an equal amount.

    This is great, but you should definitely make the drive to check out 29 Palms sometime. There are some neat little places there: grnd sqrl, White Label Vinyl, Campbell Hill Bakery, and a new 29 Palms Beer Co. You can walk around to all those, similar to the area around Frontier Cafe and Acme 5. Cheers!

    The CA high desert is definitely cooler than Palm Springs and Coachella areas. Something I have extreme hate for in the high desert are the "goat-heads" and gnats.

    Hm… for hiking… black rock campground has some fun hikes. Eureka Peak. In the National Park… Ryan Mountain. rattlesnake Canyon.
