    Excellent work, Colin. I just about remember Marsden Village, and I certainly do remember playing on the Leas and watching the Rattler. Thanks for some great memories.

      So sad Colin you would never think there had been anything there. We have lost so much up in the North East

    I can just remember the remnants being demolished.I can certai ly remember the bridge at the bottom of redwell lane. I served my apprenticeship at whitburn workshops just south of the pit

    Very interesting video Colin. I seem to just about remember the Welfare Hall just before it was demolished. Nice one Colin .

      I remember dashing out of school (So. Shields High School for Girls) HAD to watch the Rattler go through the station, not sure what the station was called.
