당시에도 그랬고 지금 들어도 걸그룹이 절대 쉽게 낼 수 없을 곡이지만, 이런 곡들도 위험 감수해가며 소화시키고 결국 히트라인으로 합류시켰기 때문에 지금의 소녀시대 위상이 부동의 원탑으로 있는 거임. 주구장창 Gee 같은 노래만 냈었으면 지금 같이 콘셉트 다양화시키기도 힘들었고, 그만큼 그룹도 롱런하기 힘들었을 듯. 어떻게 보면 Gee부터가 ‘지금은 소녀시대’, The Boys부터가 ‘앞으로도 소녀시대’, PARTY부터가 ‘영원히 소녀시대’의 시작이었던 거라고 생각한다ㅇㅇ

One of the things that makes SNDS a legendary group is that ALL OF THEM CAN SING, and it is evident in all of their performances. There isn't a member that's considered weak, and is only there simply because she's pretty or she's a good dancer.

2. She is actually better than many third and fourth gen vocalists who cannot even sing on tune and insufficient projection
@@moo2793 coz they're a group who release music and when u listen to music you use your ears. Dancing is just a bonus in these kinds of groups. Rapping and singing is the only requirement if you want to release music with your vocals. You can't put choreography/ dance moves in a recording studio. If u want a dancer in a group just make her/him a backup dancer so that the group who can actually sing/rap their own song can shine perfectly
@@gusteaujay7394 that's true but not in kpop. the performance part plays a HUGE role in kpop's popularity as well as idols' appearance, let's not lie here 🤷🏼♀️ usually the most stanned members in groups are dancers or centers, or just the more handsome ones... good vocals and rap play a major role as well but a lot of most popular kpop songs are based on catchy beat, good mv, amazing performance/choreo and group's execution of them. the visual aspect is very important in kpop even if they create music that's theoretically intended to be listen through ears

그리고 걸그룹은 2011년 당시 기준으로
카라 투애니원 원더걸스 fx 전부 10만장도 못팔거나 겨우 10만장 팔던게 현실..
근데 소녀시대만 거의40만장 가까이 팔아재끼면서 클래스를 보여줬죠
지금도 방탄은 넘사격이라 재낀다고 하더라도 엑소 세븐틴 nct 이런 그룹한테 블핑 트와도 전혀 상대안되죠

You meant pre-recorded "Live" vocals. Backtracks was always present since they aid in keeping the singing to a minimum. Pre-recorded "Live" vocals has been used more and more after 2010 since it just makes sense, to make sure these artists aren't abusing their throats too much, especially if they have to perform multiple times a day.

진짜 저 때 소시는 강적이였음. 뭐 2개월 누적 21위는 물론, 2개월 누적 40만장을 팔아재끼고 당시 동방 슈주가 컴백한 2011년에 앨범 연간 1위를 해냄. 그래놓고선 미국에 초청도 되고, 그 후 트윙클도 음원 상타치였음. 여전사 컨셉?이였나.. 그거로 수영이랑 시카 인기 엄청 많았는데 그 때 써니 숏컷으로 인해 여팬 급속도로 많아졌고 ㅋㅋㅋ
저때 하락세고 뭐라그랬지만 결국 저때도 원탑이였음 오죽하면 미국에서 초청까지할정도였으니 케이팝 글로벌화의 시작이라고 봐야함

@@user-fq7yf9fo3x 더 보이즈 나오기 전 노래보다는 그렇게 좋은 소리를 못 들었던걸로 기억해요(대중성이 없었죠) 우여골절 끝에 뮤뱅에서 6주 1위를 했고, 앨범판매가 엄청 좋았지만, 그 당시에는 호불호 엄청 갈렸고요. 아마 소녀시대 노래 중 제일 호불호가 갈렸을 노래일거에요. 저때 안티가 많아서 1위를 했어도 좋은 소리 못들었죠.그래서 전 2011년보다 지금 이시기에 나왔으면 대박을 쳤을거라 생각하네요

I love the lyrics to this song. They actually make sense and have a coherent message. It's also not just the typical shallow 'be yourself' or 'i am the best' message and actually rings true to me. Girls Generation truly is legendary. Hoping this coming comeback is similar or even greater

Joshachu I am with you 100%. Taeyeon and Jessica had the most lines at first. The rest was her and there. Then Tiffany got more and more while Jessica got less and less even though Jessica's vocal is better and her voice suits the line more. Then it became TTS and the rest.
I know right! I like Tiffany, but Jessica and Taeyeon and the group's powerhouse vocals. You can see the point where Jessica's highnotes were given to Tiffany (look at Mr. Mr., that highnote should be Jessica's normally). PLus in old songs Tiffany gets most of Jessica's parts even though their voices are just not that similar. Tiffany has a different beauty to her voice, they just try to make it into something its not now
MasterOfNintendo99 according to most line distribution videos, Jessica still gets the most lines even when Tiffany is all over the place, so it's not like her likes were being diminished

I came back after seeing kepler's show for quendom. Kepler did well for their newly debuted size. I'm sure they'll be as great as the group they admire. Snsd must be proud of their much admired song and set a good example by her hoobae.
