If you liked the "HOUSE PARTY " trilogy you are really going to love "CLASS ACT". One of my favorite comedies of all time. The punchlines delivered by DOUG E. DOUG, are timeless !!!
Kid's Dad was the legendary Robin Harris. At the time of his death was on the verge of dethroning Richard Pryor as the KING of Standup. Robin installed into the black community dialogue, phrases like "Test-tube Baby" " GOTTA GO??...GOTTA GO !!!" "We don't die, We...Multiply !!" "Small World" and many more.
aaahhh yes those were the days before social media and cell phones when folks were present with each other. but the girl in the back gyrating dancing with the red shirt was always a distraction for me lol. I think it was a aj johnson interview where she said they wrote this on the spot and she was like "wow, this is really what they do." awww they were so young too.

House party kicked off class act but i saw class act first. Makes more sense to the movie order. Its where kid n play meet !
