I think the canvas (DE) will last longer in terms of looks vs the empreinte. The empreinte has those sharp corners so if I am not careful, it will show wear. Also I don't tend to fill up the empreinte so much as I don't want the embossing to also soften because that can also happen in time. The canvas DE unbless you get a big old scratch on the canvas or leather (hard to do), it will still look good =)
Do you feel like you have to baby the empreinte one? I have heart eyes for that bag, but worry about color transfer. What are your thoughts? This was very helpful thank you Francesca!!❤️❤️
I am normally careful with my bags anyway so I don't think I baby it. I honestly treat them all nicely haha! I don't wear blue jeans with it, otherwise everything else has been fair game. I don't like to wear it crossbody unless I have to be hand free (this is just my preference) which is technically better for it's corners because I have more control on making sure they doesn't rub on anything. I may spray this one with colonil this weekend as that will help with color transfer issues. Thank you babe! I hope you are well =)

I love the embossing of the empriente leather but I read that the quality is not so good. Is the epi leather better quality than the empriente? And between the canvas and epi, which would you recommend?
I actually prefer the empreinte because it fits so much more. But when it comes the canvas vs epi, I guess it depends really on the color of the epi because the are both shaped and structured the same way 😊

Oh boy...these are such pretty bags, the yellow offers such a fun pop of color to an outfit. The black one offers a more sophisticated look and the DE will take you from day to night... Love it. TFS 💖
Thank you! It was really nice to sit down and just look at all three of the bags. First glance, I wouldn't notice the small nuances like difference in grommet and zipper. At the end of the day for me, they are all still going to stay with me as the different look/leather/colors make them actually different bags. Have a blessed day sweets!

I guess really depends on what you really want right now. I definitely feel like I HAD to buy the empreinte Creme right away since I have never seen it on the resale market and my SA says it will be discontinued. Don't get me wrong, I also want a Chanel flap. But for me, I would only likely buy Chanel used at this time since it's so expensive brand new. There will likely be another increase on the Chanel classics soon so I might get that first as I have not heard of the black being discontinued any time soon =). Let me know what you end up getting!

So far it is holding it's shape. I have seen a alma PM empreinte in person and that was so soft it was already creasing at the store. So that size definitely needs an organizer. I do plan to buy one for her soon (not because she needs it/because I'm cray lol), I just need to decide what other organizer I want to get as the shipping is expensive from all these organizer companies right now. AWESOME review/ comparison! I bought the epi leather one first and didn't love it, it didn't fit that much inside without getting warped and the strap seemed like id have to buy a different thicker one to be comfy... but I loved the structure... I returned it. so I decided to take the plunge and buy the Neo empriente version, omg I love it so much! its fits soooo much and the strap is so comfortable! and I just love the softer leather. i recommend it. I will say all the Almas are classics though - so you can't go wrong!
@@chexy04 yes! I love that its a more low key than the canvas, that was one of my main reasons for wanting a leather version. I just bought an organiser, I think its a good idea - as the leather is more supple!

Hi dear! The strap drop for the alma bb de is about 22 inches and the empreinte is 20 inches... the clasp are different so that adds bit of difference. With both of them on, I don’t notice a big difference ❤️ . I hope that helps 😊

Love all three Alma BB’s I really love the leather one. The cream color is beautiful. Love my agenda pm. In my small bag that can fit my agenda, sometimes I use my agenda as a wallet so I can really minimize. Wow the leather one fits so much more. That’s good to know

Yes the inner portion of the handles. The handles have a a place on the hardware for the straps so it doesn’t run the sides of the leather. It may not be a big deal for darker colored bags like the Damier ebene but it will discolor the white alma. Also it might rub the leather itself 😊

The empreinte is about half an inch I longer because it has a different lobster clasp hardware ❤️

Love all three Alma BB’s I really love the leather one. The cream color is beautiful. Love my agenda pm. In my small bag that can fit my agenda, sometimes I use my agenda as a wallet so I can really minimize. Wow the leather one fits so much more. That’s good to know

I have owned both the canvas and empreinte Felicie in the past and in those bags, it did not notice any difference in capacity =).

I don’t think the empreinte looks any bigger but it is wider on the sides and the leather is pliable 😊
I have the Pm Alma in mono & the MM in DE. I so want a epi leather one. The Alma bags are my favorite.
I think you can find the epi leather ones preloved for a very good price 😊. Love them very durable ❤️

So where should the straps be attached? On the inner?
Yes the inner portion of the handles. The handles have a a place on the hardware for the straps so it doesn’t run the sides of the leather. It may not be a big deal for darker colored bags like the Damier ebene but it will discolor the white alma. Also it might rub the leather itself 😊

This is a goal - love one style so much and collect all the prints/leathers😄😄😄 I so want to get an Alma bb but I finally got to try it on last week in the store and it looks “awkward” on me🤣🤣🤣
I am glad you got to try in ON. I definitely prefer this bag on the crook of my arm or top handle. I keep the Straps on there just in case I need to be hand free but I don't like to walk around like that LOL.
