Yesterday I went to the court house to get a modification paperwork to serve my ex husband to get more alimony from the judge. For the past 10 yrs I’ve had to accept whatever he decides I should have. We haggled over alimony this entire time. He cheated me, manipulated me out of the divorce proceedings and this will be the first time that I’ve ever been confident and strong enough to just get in front of a judge so she can decide what he should be giving me because every 3 months like clockwork he calls me and triggers me over alimony because he is and has been in control thus far.
