Loved the build. Sometimes the smaller builds can really sell a setting. I didn't even realize looking at the thumbnail that the subway entrance was wider than the rest of them in the city. Have you thought about putting a second fairground entrance in that corner? Not sure what could fit between the second standing hole and the road there, but I agree that large buildings would block a lot of cool scenes. Maybe some parks or smaller shops, like a strip mall?
A strip mall is one option. I would be happy having a second entrance to the fairground there but it'll need to be opened up from when I had it next to the backs of buildings!
I think if you use another of those clear action angle stud pieces for mini-figures to knock off one of the lamps and leave it suspended, it’ll look even better especially since the lamp kept getting knocked off anyway. A fun addition to the chaos around it
Yay RHB is back!!!! 👍🎉 The start when the blue mini car fell was super funny 😂. 🚗🚕🚙 The 6 wide subway doesn’t look any different to the others so that’s great and lots of times the simpler ones are the best so it shows you didn’t need to do the stairs at all. I have that baseplate and plate height in my city all the time I think it’s more like real life. Awesome use of angles with all 3 cars.👍 JJ F

You should add another set of minis near the turtles, in a pipe when they are swinging up the sides of the pipe. That’s they coolest scene! ( possibly when they hide amongst all the other minis in they car park too fool the cops chasing!)
Great to see this scene in the city. But if I can make one comment... it does look like the roof of the car would hit the roof of the entrance. Maybe a suggestion to make the opening a bit longer, pushing the fence pieces a stud back?
I actually like both versions of the movie, but the first is my preferred one. If I could make a suggestion, how about making a 4th Mini right in front of them, a yellow / lime one with black hood, full of stuff for home reno, and a gentleman driving it from the top with brooms and cords, sitting on a comfy armchair, and almost hitting the back of the moving truck? 😉
As soon as you knocked the lamp post off in the video testing the car. I thought use that clear peace like the girl diving for the volly ball on the beach, to show the lamp posts falling off as the cars jump out of the subway entrance
If the mine ends up under part of a building, maybe we can do a basement scene under the building tying the cave/mine with the basement in a kind of Goonies style scene. Maybe a cracked or partially opened wall with cave or mine on the other side of it. Maybe we can use the gap closer to the table edge to tie a street level building together with something underneath. Maybe the botanical garden can but up against the fair ground bit and have a doorway or open face toward the fairgrounds. The two sections of 'green space' near each other should help soften the edge between the fair grounds and street areas.

90's, but for the behind the scences stuff. I'm not sure if you wnted to imply arc or make a true arc withthe 3 mini coops, for true the angles of the mini coops would need to change, for implied, its fine.
Suggestion: add a Subway station in 2D that caught on fire and smoke came out the entrance and firefighters came to the scene and ambulances and fire trucks
I think you should take one of those clear, little action pieces to make one of those lights actually in the process of flying off like they kept trying to do in your video. very fun scene
Have you ever thought of building Mr Bean's car in lego form (just like the Mini's that you have made) and have it somewhere that is seeable in your lego city design. It's just a thought that I had and for you to give it a try.
a great implementation. I like it very much. However, I think the gaps between the minis are still too big. I would push the red car even further back onto the sidewalk and push the white car even closer to the blue one.
After nearby 3 years it´s finaly finished and it was worth the wait as usual. I think you have to rework it slightly after January 11. 2024 to give the Minis the Honour of there 3. Aniversary to finaly called finished
I love The Italian Job (there is no second one just like there is no Disney Star Wars), seeing this little mini escape scene, would you be up for replicating the ending with the bus teetering over a cliff with the gold sliding towards the rear doors? Also a skatepark seems the most fitting new addition to Calamity St given how common accidents there are

I'm wondering if you couldn't use the thinner part of some bracket pieces (which, I think, has the thickness of a baseplate) under the supports on each end of the build to get the whole build back into the overall Lego grid system, just requiring a one-plate thick step around it. 73825 or 99207 would be good candidates for that, if you can make it fit.
Every time I see that subway sign I think it is a picture of the Spooky Girl minifigure at first. Then my eyes will focus better. If this causes anyone difficulty finding the subway I'm dreadfully sorry. While I'm at it, the train logo with the arrows pointing away from the circle looks like a T.I.E. fighter. I've probably gone too far now and will be banned. :(
I can see the subway fine so I won't try to see the girl or it'll ruin it, haha. There are some minifigure heads that I can only see the mouth as a moustache and it's weird!
I think the Calamity Street drill scene needs 2 cars, one that crashed into it, and another that unfortunately was in the wrong place and got obliterated. They are just from the set 75894 without the roof rack. The windscreens were specific to that set via Bricks & Pieces but unprinted alternatives are also available!
