I love the fact that you guys still admire and love Samoan food and the beauty of our island. My kids are 1/2 Samoan as well and when ever we get there they thrive in everything Samoa offer. Great to see and I love videos like yours. Have fun
I grew up in Siusega, lived across the Mormon church down the dirt road all the way in the back from '98 to '05 until I graduated. I remember them playing basketball at night on weekends or something but I wasn't with the church so I couldn't play lol. Just hung on the streets at night with the village boys whistling at all the girls lol. Wow what a small world. American born but my mom (Samoan) wanted us to live our other half of who we are. At times it was rough and a bit getting used to but I quickly turned into this light skinned fluent in Samoan jungle afatasi boy that thought he would never leave Samoa for America but unless I was working in the Malo there wasn't much a future or stable career so we came back for college in America. I would never in a million years give up my child hood experiences living in Samoa, the good and the bad.
Aww that was such a sweet experience thank you for sharing you’re definitely right the experience you have on island are the most precious experiences, I know I still remember all my childhood memories in Am Samoa too ❤️❤️

Totally understand dear. I'm so glad you continued with your TH-cam channel as this captures great memories for everyone. The kids have all grown up so much...😊 Thank you for sharing your life memories with us all as well. 🥰🙏
As a Samoan Kiwi you cant fully grasp the Fa’a Samoa until you have been there, lived there for 2 years and experienced the culture in its purest form, went to a Samoan primary school where they didn’t speak English and I learnt the culture through living with the locals, playing rugby with a modified sandal, carving traditional Spears, making food on independence day, singing hymns in the morning and cheering songs during group activities
You’re very right nothing beats the experience of living the island life. I wish our kids could experience it too, I left American Samoa when I was young but those are still core memories I have of home. I was blessed to be able to go back and serve my mission there later as a 21 year old. Thank you for watching 🙏🏽🙏🏽
