Thank you so much for sharing your process. It was very helpful watching your screen and thinking about the problems as you worked through them.

    Light mode! Ahhhh!

I heard you all. Newer videos are dark mode already. However there will be a couple ones still in the pipeline, that are recorded with a light color theme. Bear with me.

First time seeing a video from you, really loved seeing your thought process while you were coding! I followed the tutorial along, and man, you made me remember why I loved Rust so much since the first time I saw it despite me still learning it haha, love the videos bro!

Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it. I had quite a lot of fun making it myself. Always happy to share the fun. 🤩

might seem like a dumb question but how did you know the steps to take to implement this

The question is perfectly fine. Actually you see me coming up with the way of solving this specific problem. Before recording the video, I only had some basic thoughts about the idea in general. I guess it mostly comes down to experience. Once you tried something often enough and failed often enough, needing to redo it or adapt it until it worked you kind develop a way of splitting up a problem into its core components and challenges. Then you solve those one at a time.
If you want to do something like this yourself, the best advice I can give you, is to do more or less, what I am doing in this videos. Pick a random problem you find interesting, and just start implementing. You might need to refactor stuff, to more or less redo everything from scratch, because you took a different route. But in the end you will have learned a lot on the way. If a problem seems to be much too complicated at first, either try something simpler, or try to only work on a part of the problem, that looks easier, then go from there, one step at a time.
However you might go from here, I wish you the best of luck and always remember it should be fun 😎

    Great video! Thx.
No dark mode though?? Sending thoughts and prayers. 😭😂

Thanks. I am glad you liked the video. I have switched to a darker theme in the meantime, as it was requested many times. However I have „pre-produced“ some videos. Furthermore I reordered the videos a little. Therefore there are still some videos like this one, which are still to come in a light theme. However more and more will use a dark theme to not burn your eyes 😅.
I however didn’t want the content to go to waste, only because the recording still used a lighter theme.

@@MrJakob it doesn't take away from the video being great. It was a friendly jab. keep it up man !

I didn’t take your comment in a negative way, just wanted to clarify, why there are still appearing some videos with a light color theme here and there 😇
