I’m glad you liked The Fury! I’ve heard mixed things but found a copy from Goodwill recently (maybe I’ll listen and read at the same time haha). Ahhh so happy you loved Seven Days in June!! Obsessed and in love with it and so many beautiful quotes and moments 😍
i keeep seeing play along getting really good reviews and hysterically you're not the first person ive seen tell me to skip the first one LMAO. love your vibe!!
@@lucycanread it's just soooo bad 😭 i'm glad i decided to give the rest of the series a chance because the other books really did improve a lot! & thank you so much ❤️
🌞I loved Seven Days in June. But I enjoyed A Love Song for Ricki Wilde more ! It has magical realism aspect to it mixed with some historical fiction. I did that one via audiobook and it made for an amazing experience. I also highly recommend reading it before the year is out, as it is set in February 2024. ☺️ I totally understand your reasoning for DNF’ing A good girls guide to murder. I felt the same exact way! The ending made up for the book for sure. I’ll be watching the Netflix series since it’ll come out today. I’m not buying the other two books.
Here's what I read Wild love by elsie silver Broken horses by brandi carlile memoir You've reached sam by Dustin thao The neighbor favor by Kristina forest Fourth wing by rebecca yarros Truly madly deeply by Alexandria bellefleur The royals next door by Katrina halle Taming 7 by chloe Walsh The wolves of midwinter by Anne rice sequel to the wolf gift Summer on the bluffs by sunny hostin My favorite reads were Summer on the bluffs The neighbor favor by Kristina forest Wild love My least taming 7 by chloe Walsh
🌞I also gave Happily Never After 3.5 and seem to have similar feelings about her adult books 🤷🏻♂ Well maybe I should give POWERFUL a try, because I hated Powerless and DNF'd it... I couldn't get past how similar it was to Hunger Games and the romance to me was just a bit juvenile and this banter that everyone seems to love just wasn't IT... But maybe Powerful being a short novella will resonate with me(especially if I don't have to deal with them copy & pasted trials)... But if everyone is lying to me again, I'm done with anything LR LoL I always see PIGLET at B&N and always pick it up out of curiosity 🍔
@@Mano-Wan i think my experience with this series might have just been different because i've never read it watched the hunger games 😭 it could be worth a shot it's really short ☺️ and same!! the cover of piglet always catches my eye
I’m really happy to see seven days in June get to popularity and the praise it deserves it will probably be my favorite book of the 2020s
@@PoppyMorreale i saw it being hyped up a lot and it's sooooo worth the hype! i'm so happy i read it and AGREED it's a classic in my head 🙏🏾

I DNFed AGGGTM too, but I also think that it was a mood thing and that book wasn’t for me at the time. I want to try again at some point

I just finished The Love of My Afterlife and I completely agree with your conflicted opinions. I rated it a 3 stars though haha
