The air pump need to be fixed and it would stop the misfire because the car at start up is running super rich without the air pump to lean it out for those five sec or how ever long it is it will misfire until the car is up to temp the air pump only works at cold starts for emissions purpose

So you have a 20 year old Audi with over 190k on it. (that quite a bit) There's also a faulty passenger window. Cylinders 2, 3, & 4 are misfiring for reasons unknown. All due to a "CHECK ENGINE light being on. So thats what we know. Here's what we dont know that will definitely need attention. SEALS, FUEL INJECTORS, ENGINE & TRANSMISSION MOUNTS, TIMING BELT/CHAIN & TENSIONERS. Will you accept $1500?
4 plugs, 4 coils and a good used airpump. then replace all vacuum system hoses and valves. then this car wil drive really good. no really expencive fixes and also not real heavy in laybor. engine oil, gear oil and all filters not to forget.. greets from holland
Po411 is the Maf . A problem with the intake airflow sensor. Probably just needs an air filter or a cleaning. The misfiresnare spark plugs and maybe coils. Easy cheap fix.
Will you consider a trade and cash . I have a 2004 Audi A-4 quattro turbo 1.8 lte. Automatic. Cant get it running. But i do also have a 1999 Dodge caravan V-6 that runs good and is pretty clean. Would you consider making a trade for the 2001 Audi?
I had that same exact Audi A4 1.8 dolphin Gray with the same color interior but to be honest it probably needs an oil change oil filter cabin filter air filter spark plugs coil packs fuel filter and oxygen sensors it's not hard to do I had my Audi for 2 years 2,500 for that car that's not a bad deal depending on the mileage the higher the mileage you better drop that price
And also how can you say it's not a bad car $2500 when you don't know what the check engine is, if it needs a new engine then it's gonna be like 3 grand so that would be a terrible Car for $2500 I

I don’t know where you’re getting your information or maybe you don’t live in the United States, but I owned both a B5 and B6, and a simple Google search will prove you wrong sir…..

Tune it up, and ask more for it. Better to sell something sound, than sell a pos and get a bad reputation

Just bought a 2002 audi a4 1.8t 180,000 miles but I rebuilt the engine and it had a bad driver window also but fixed it and I love this car lol

And these cars are meant to go more than 200,000 miles they say probably 300,000 if you maintain it regularly
