Jazakallahu khair shaykh. I must say though, the questions was jor answered. As it was very insightful, what we take from it is that the jinn can observe us but we cannot observe them, and they have the ability to identify our weaknesses, and drive us into temptation, without necessitating that they have “knowledge” of what’s in our minds/hearts. The question is, how do they identify our weaknesses, is it because they have knowledge of what’s in our hearts? This would be different from, they are smart beings who are able to observe us very easily as they “flow through the son of Adam” as the blood flows through the veins, and they see us and we can’t see them. So they as a different being have different observational abilities and intelligence, which may allow them to “predict” our desires very accurately. So, I would characterize it the same way, (given the information that was given from this answer, may Allah reward the shaykh), that the jinn can very accurately predict what is in someone’s heart, like a human can, but because they are a different beings, and they observe us when we can’t observe them, and flow through the son of Adam as blood through the veins, they are much better at identifying the desires of humans, than our brothers and sisters of humanity can. Does that mean they know what’s in the heart? Because saying “can they “know” or have “knowledge” of our thoughts, is very similar and arguably the same as asking if they know what’s in our hearts (hence desires)” Based on the answer given by the shaykh, and the references provided, I believe he meant to say, that they don’t have “knowledge”, but they have abilities that help them to come to strong conclusions so they may influence us. This is just my interpretation of the Shaykhs answer.
From what I have learnt, the jinn do not know the ghaib as الله has mentioned in the story related to the death of Suleiman and how the Jinns kept on working for him for a longtime, not realizing that he passed away! Now the question is does the ghaib include thoughts or not?
BaarakAllaahu fiekum for your answer. I would like to add, to console the one asking the question, remember 'they' can never know more than Allaah Who created them and He is The AllHearing, The AllAware. Wa baarakAllaahu fiehu.
Imam Shafi said “Whoever is of sound character and claims to have seen the jinn, his testimony is no longer valid, because Allah says: 'Verily, he and qabeeluhu (his soldiers from the jinn or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them' [7:27] -unless he is a Prophet.”
you take the imam's opinion out of context baarakaAllahufik. there is a difference between natural form vs other forms. In other forms they appeared like the one in human form who stole sadaqah in the Hadith of ayat al Kursiy. Same with the Angels such as those who came in human form to the people of Lot aleyhi salaam or the hadith Djibrîl aleyhi Salaam. Allah ta'ala knows best-
Brother read The Quran Kareem when Solomon AS died Jinn did not know he is dead . you talking about Jinn know your thoughts not even Angels Only Allah swt .when some one does not repent after given so many chance then Allah swt give him permission to Jinn ,they can not do anything if you Believe in Allah swt and Establish Salah 5 times .Salam
I appreciate the short biography of the shaykh in the description

I’ve heard too that the jinns communicate with our Qarin to get information. Is this true?
Yes, it's true. Magicians used their jinns to communicate with our qarin jinns to get information about us.
