Just love this airplane! P-38 lightning, use to have a model of it then a engine light on fire and it crashed. Who knew model glue was so easy to light on fire.

This video: P-38 barely reaches 280 mph flying flat
It's the experimental model of the P-38, it has a weaker engine, and flies slower at lower altitudes.
@@ndcentral8194 I know but even with that fact, this model is woefully slow and overall mediocre compared to what the real XP-38 was capable of.
None of the in game P38s have the real world and on paper perfomance. They were quite the hunters of the skies. Even the XP-38 has the same perfomance as the later year P-38s

You are great
The me264 is a bit to op at a br of 3.7... If been using the p-61c to try and counter the me264 with its 4 20mm and I still can't kill them unless its a fire... Also they need to fix the p-61 radar and its flight module... If it goes below 240hm it will fall out of the sky like a brick and not glide at all, also they basically made it act likes its made of paper, I had a bf109 that ran out of 20mm and with just 7.7mm he put over 78% or so of my aircraft to orange and yellow in only a few passes...
And the engines on it need a buff/update as its unable to reach its listed speed at altitude by 150km slower...

@@Gio90210. thank you, the me264 wouldn't be so over powered if the p-61 was able to keep up with it in speed, sturdiness and radar, if it had stringer more powerful engine it would be able to keep up with me264 and not be outrun while the me264 peppers its weak airframe with 20mm rounds, not only that but the p-61 was a vary strong aircraft, it was built so it could return home if hit by a German flak gun, not saying it should be "bullet proof" like how the me264 is right now... But it should be able to survive several 20mm wounds without dieing, not only that but the radar is broken to the point where its unreliable and will not show the position of enemy's already with in range and spotted.
This aircraft needs some love, its engine are underperforming and outdated, its damage module is decades old, its radar is bugged out of hell, even its fire module needs work cause fires should be put out be SELF SEALING FUEL TANKS, I'm sick of zeros putting out fires more commonly than my p-38L or the p-61C's fuel tanks, both aircraft at there time where considered the safest aircraft in terms of fire prevention equipment, fires where the least likely cause of death to those aircraft and here they are, spreading though the entire aircraft even though they had several feature's to prevent this, like separating the fuel tanks with metal barriers, having the fuel tanks not connect in any way, and having them with extra thick self sealing fuel tanks than just normal stuff...

Silver eyes they need to increase it’s durability as well as it’s power speed and speed to make it similar to an me 410 but for America aka tons of power and guns with ok turn and speed
@@Gio90210. it has better turn than most German twin engine fighters in fact, just its engine suck so much that said German twin engine fighters can easily do loops and avoid the p-61, as its engine are so bad that they can't keep with most other twin engine fighters for a long time before burning all there speed and fall out of the sky, if done landings in the p-61 and if you go below 240km the game acts like you have airbrakes out and you will lose all lift, if died a few times this way while landing as you need to be about 250-300km to land early, anything slower and say by by to your wheels
