I was smiling throughout the video. This was so wholesome. Also the "a woman is not a piece of property" part was such a powerful move Hattie😭❤️
and an unneccessary move too, you should not bring social ideologies into religious things , I mean unless the religious thing is wrong and here they didnt mean it in a way like "property" its a cultural way, a procedure like the king pats on knight's shoulders, a cultural process. you dont have to change it for you unless its wrong and here its not meant that way, so its like saying " women too" when anyone says " practice makes man perfect" it is a way of saying not essentially meaning only men become perfect but thats how you say it . giving means that its now the "duty "of the husband to protect and take care of the girl from his father's. you shouldnt take giving literally, even the meaning doesnt come in sense of comparison to "property".. You dont have to be so feminist all the time as if it matters at times like this rather rise your voice on where it matters like the education of females in some parts, I think thats more important than changing something which never meant that way and yes "a woman is not a piece of property". and before you think they meant it that way look at 6:55 , now okay? instead of displaying feminism for silly things do it for where it matters.This is evident in why America has more feminists than Africa where as African girls face 100x more discrimination? you better fight for them than silly things like these..
