Gulf is better like Oman Kuwait and Qatar but not UAE
I just came back from istanbul and it was my first time walahi i fall in love with it. now, i’m planning to move there.
Istanbul is not good for muslim go either to north cities like Trabzon Prize and Artvin .etc or south and Andoulian cities but all western Turkey cities are influenced by westen life and fanatic secularism except Bursa and some places in Izmit (please do not mixed city of izmir which totally with western culture and life and city of Izmit that ends with letter T)
These two cities are better and have some Islamic conservative life but still Anadul region most of north turkey and south are much conservative then those cities

I advice you to go to Trabzon and Reze or konya Kutahya and beburt but in the west Go to IZmit ( please be careful there is another city with name Izmir different is the end letter r and t) and Bursa those are more conservative cities then Istanbul

Surah Tahrim Ayah 6 sums it best يَٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًۭا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌۭ شِدَادٌۭ لَّا يَعْصُونَ ٱللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ O you who believe! Protect yourselves and your families (from) a Fire whose fuel (is) people and stones, over it (are) Angels stern, severe; not they disobey Allah (in) what He Commands them but they do what they are commanded.
