Reacting to Moonbyul's "Shutdown" is a must!! My favorite Mamamoo title tracks are Egotistic, Starry Night, Gogobebe, and Windflower (basically their 4 seasons project). Also, Gleam is a song they did as an ad but it is seriously one of their best songs haha, and the visuals are immaculate.

They deserve so much more respect and praise for this song and everything they release. Not only do they make fantastic music, they work their asses off and give us everything. They never slack off. Like you two said, this is a super group. They’re the only kpop group and one of few artists I stan for this reason. Amazing women individually both in their career choices as well as who they are as people, and they’re totally pros as a group as well as a family. I’m so proud of them. I never talk about any celebs or artists this way, I truly don’t, but I am not so much praising them as I am acknowledging their greatness. Proud moomoo ❤
For full-group mv's I recommend Egotistic, Gleam and Yes I Am. For solo stuff that you didn't mention, there's Byul's Lunatic with the two pre-release tracks(G999 and Shutdown) and Eclipse. Hwasa got Twit and I'm a 빛, both iconic. Solar got her most recent release, Honey. And Wheein got Easy(my personal favorite of all the solo titles amongst these women), Watercolor and Make Me Happy. Mamamoo was my entry into K-Pop and are my top group alongside Dreamcatcher. 🥰 One thing that I feel sets Mamamoo apart from other girl groups is the sheer amount of variety content, behind the scenes videos, and the fact that every member has a YT channel(Hwasa isn't very active though). I keep picking the groups with the biggest discographies to get into and Mamamoo has one of the biggest of the 3rd generation. This year there was 4 solo releases and 1 group release! I would start with title track videos and some of the more iconic performances(Immortal Songs medley and Killing Voice are classics and YT safe). Many of the performance videos and special clips on their personal channels are safe to react to as well so you have several years of content if you want. 😂 Good luck and be prepared to fall in love with them all.

Mamamoo is one of the greatest vocal lines in Kpop, MooMoos (fandom) say that they eat CDs for breakfast.
They are singers and performers first and Idols after that.
Don't be fooled by the MVs they are better on live performances, sick ad libs and harmonies and 4 powerfull women (not girls) goofing around and HIPping your day.
Don't expect perfect coreos and pinpoint dance movements, they forget their positions and parts they improvise and overcome, they make fun of each other. This makes them perfect on stage!
They are some of the best vocalists on kpop, maybe not the overall best but on the top 10 list all of them, any of Mamamoo vocalist can be the Main vocal in 99% of others kpop groups. And the harmonies...no other group can harmonize like them, it's second nature for them like breathing.
Also they are funny and charismatic as hell.
They don't play the cute young girl concept (that's not entirely true but the times they do it's to make fun of themselves), they are grown up women. They were the first artist of a new company and didn't have money to promote. So initially they started making their own coreos, make up etcetera, also performing on the streets and in all the festivals they could to promote themselves.
All 4 of them also have successful solo work. And all of them have some solo bops. One of those groups you cannot say wich one is the best...all of them are masters of their specific trade and advanced performers in the others. Also they don't have Main or Lead positions, all of them can perform any of the tasks; there's an iconic performance in live TV where they change their song parts, the rappers sing and the singers rap....

Hwasa and wheein are childhood friends from middle school. The company CEO created the group around them.

I like that you said it's a group of superstars. No one really put them together. THEY picked each other & like stayed together as a girl gang. THEY TOTALLY knew how good they were. That helped keep them together when there was no money behind them. They knew how talented each other was. They practiced together, they perfected themselves. There is so much Mamamoo that is all so good it's hard to pick where to start. Their Queendom performances of Destiny and I Miss You. For maximum attack, the MVs of Decalcomanie or Egotistic. Um Oh Ah Yeah is the one that gets played at all the Korean pride events.
The Dingo Killing Voice and the Immortal Songs Medley are required if you haven't seen them before.
There are two guides Purple Hawk's is probably the best edited guide ever and gives a fuller view of the individual members. The Mamamoo Introduction Guide gives you more up to date information and does more about the group as a whole.
Moonbyul is currently slaying everyone on the competition Second Life. 8 rappers who are competing as vocalists. Honestly you couldn't pick a better format for her. First two round she had perfect 1000 point scores and they played her third round performance but we haven't seen scores yer.

You should definitely check out a guide them. Some group MV suggestions would be Egotistic, Yes I Am, Decalcomanie, Starry Night. I would highly recommend the 2 part guide "The MAMAMOO Introduction Guide of 2022" by Moo YT, which has the most up-to-date information on the the members, their solo work and the group itself. There is also the Purple Hawke 2 part guide on the members which is also popular and has cool edits, but unfortunately is 2 years old. Since then each member has grown a lot and also done a lot of solo work, which is not covered in the PK guide. But still worth checking out.

I doubt you'll get many requests for it, but Taller Than You is one of my favorites; it's really funny, and has some of their best rapping. Honestly, they don't have a single song that isn't great so anything you react to will be good.

As for the music, I don't know what you've heard already or not, but you honestly really can't go wrong by choosing whatever MV, album or solo project. Though, you are a couple right ?
