I think with Genshin, they messed up by being too stingy in the beginning. So now, if they started handing things out for free and upping their game, older players get outraged and feel cheated. And, under international law, they open themselves up to more liability by making things people paid a lot of money for cheaper and easier to get. It’s a lost cause but I’m glad they have consistently been good to star rail players
