Saw this band on tv at Rose Parade and just looked at all their TH-cam videos. They are great. Is this school a performing arts high school? All the kids are talented. From USA.
I think the drum major is still Ron in this video. Was this before or after the 2018 Rose Parade? I see that their instruments have the Rose Parade logos. ドラムのメジャーはまだこのビデオのRonだと思う。これは2018年のローズパレードの前か後か？彼らの楽器にはローズパレードのロゴがあることがわかります。

@@Paddington60 It seems to be a muffler towel. Perhaps it was provided by a company that cooperates with the convention. You can see the white coke bottle in red towel. Performers in other schools usually used it to wipe their sweats and to sunshade of a woodwind. However, Tachibana's imagination has made it a parade costume accessory.

In the early Seventies our History Teacher told us, tongue in cheek by the way, Ladies Glow, Gentlemen perspire, and animals sweat. Then he always wore a three piece suit, even in Summer. ;-)

入学したばかりの一年生も短期間で良くここまで上級生に付いての演奏❣️
他校の中高校生も凄い体力だなと応援してくれている見たいですね💓😀💓
日本の高校生のマーチングバンドは世界水準です。ローズパレードや、イタリア、ドイツ等々に参加している高校は素晴らしい。だがダントツなのは京都橘です。選曲、振り付け、楽しむ姿勢は何回見ても飽きません。伝統を継承して下さい。しかし上には上がいますので
慢心は禁物です。アメリカのカレッジバンドは凄い。フットボールのハーフタイムショウは素晴らしいので参考にして下さい。

At least this year the Sousaphones have their scarf on their body instead of tied to their Sousaphone.
I noticed the clarinet section don't have red towels like the rest of the band. :-(
