Thank you for this video. Im age 41 and currently in the thick of this energy. You have articulated so well what I'm experiencing but have found challenging to express.
I've been reflecting on how everything that has shaped my identity thus far in my life is being called out for evaluation and transformation. By choice and by force. This is one of the most difficult periods I've had in my life, and I have a Scorpio dominant chart and heavy 12th house placements, so transformation is not new to me, I have already experienced many deaths of myself. Still, some days are really hard to get through right now. All and all, this process is teaching me to connect to the Power and Divinity within me in a way that I have not known before. I know this time is on purpose and I must choose to be purposefully Aware as I navigate this. Im sharing all of this here because, well, it feels good to find a space where I feel seen in this energy.
Also, in case someone else is up in the middle of the night looking for clues to help figure out life, at least you'll see this comment and know you're not alone. Hopefully that feels supportive in some way.

Neptune was on my DC in 2018. I fell in love with someone who was already taken, but tremendously smitten with me. The attraction was real, but I finally realized he is not the right one for me.
This year I have Neptune square Neptune. I'm deeply interested in spirituality and doing lots of healing. I have the feeling that I part of me is dissolving. Feels strange, good and sometimes a bit scary.
It would be much appreciated if you could share real life stories associated with such transits. Of course each chart is unique and transits don't work in isolation. For me personally, I find wisdom in real life stories as well as inspiration
thank you, Im out of the Neptune square for a few months before it retrogrades and gets into the loose square again, Neptune is anyway squaring my Mercury. Both my natal Neptune and Mercury are at the 3rd house cusp, and it has been a very difficult transit. Knowing that the difficulties are validated by the astrological transits and that they have a purpose and an end as well, helps quite a bit...

I never find much about Neptune but upon looking at my own chart a couple months ago, I decided to research two of the three multidimensional/mystic experiences that I had the exact dates for - and discovered that in both circumstances, transit neptune and transit moon were conjunct in pisces ... Neptune has brought me some immense gifts since 2011 ...
I should have added - the first incident was 2015 at 9 degrees. The 2nd was at 15 degrees ( and - of course - I looked up the sabian symbols! :D)
Thanks so much for your perspective on Neptune transits, you could say I’ve been lucky🙂I’ve had Neptune sun transit, Neptune opposite and square moon and now it’s square MC and trine my sun about to oppose my ascendant. Talk about dissolving everything, there’s hardly anything left other than my imagination❤️

I thought it was Neptune transiting my IC that washed away all the incoherent pieces that I called my life. When you mentioned Neptune square natal moon transit I went and checked the degrees. The crumbling was initiated when Neptune got to 5 degree orb from the natal moon as well. Also 5 degrees Neptune square it's natal position. Also Pluto squaring it's natal position. I haven't lost my sanity (yet), at least I believe I haven't.
Thank you, i have Neptune in critical degree, and people trying to force me into some or other organized religion is scary. Neptune helps me there, i am deeply spiritual, but i dont conform to organized religion. 🤗
This was an excellent explanation. I have recently had a Neptune Square Mercury Transit, and now have Neptune Square Sun/Venus.
I no longer trust my discernment with respect to almost anything in life.

Thank You🌊💙💚💛🧡💖💜🌌 Ive Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Asc & Saturn in virgo. By now, transit Neptune has square natal N♐(conjunct Ic) & Moon♊(at the same trined Mars). Will be back opposing Asc, trine Venus&Uranus(grand water trine). The last virgo placement to oppose: Saturn 🙂
Ive understood, there is no point to create long term mercurial plans. Ive left behind long term relationship, home, career(visual artist, currently seasonal factory work(in a 🐟 business😆)and social field.). Felt need to move next to the sea, and I ended up here 50m from sea(and 🐟factory on the other side). I enjoy paddling and walking in forest, picking up food from there and eating healthy. Neptune transit in pisces has washed away lower level virgo/pisces energy, but in placidus three of four are in the 12th house, so I have virgo-piscean mindset form the start. And Pluto parallel Sun&Mercury probably ... Helps...transformation... 😅🎏

Transit Neptune square Natal Sun in Saggitarius 25° . Confused. Have also Transit Pluto conjunct Natal Neptune in Aquarius in 1 house at 0°33'. Capri rising, Neptune and Uranus in Aquarius 1 house.

I have a close friend with Neptune on the ASC and he fits none of these descriptions. Is not a martyr, doesn't have trouble seeing situations clearly, is pragmatic, is not hypersensitive or noticeably sensitive at all, doesn't have 'fog' in relationships, etc. Many other examples of strong Neptune in charts of people I know that just doesn't land. Like Pluto, modern astrology has not understood this planet and has vastly overinterpreted it. Its generational, not personal. Neptune as Zeitgeist is the best and most accurate interp. Further, when Neptune was square his Moon as he says in this video which was the 'most intense Neptune transit he experienced' it was also opposite his Jupiter and trine his Neptune (James Burgess' chart is public). Abstracting the specific Neptune/moon effects are impossible in that scenario as it is hitting 3 points in the chart simultaneously bec of James' placements. What he describes is over attribution to Neptune as other transits were occurring at the same time but some features may fit Neptune/Neptune and Neptune Jupiter far more than Neptune/Moon which is a common natal placement and amounts to not much. Every month the moon forms all the ptolmyic aspects to the moon so there are literally moon/neptune people everywhere and...they don't fit the Neptune/Moon descriptions. Astrology is in bad need of an overhaul but I digress. I do appreciate James Burgess' poetic way of putting Neptune. Like ancient texts, use it as a poetic, literary form. Not a literal, empirical or remotely scientific one.
