I agree we need them for every park. Hopefully as the center of Epcot grows up it will get better. Hard to believe the next festival doesn’t start until end of August. Thanks for traveling along and being part of our traveling family

I’m with Michelle! There’s never enough shade on both coasts-so easy to fix! I did very much enjoy this video however. I especially appreciate the tip about the Rose & Crown . It makes me smile to remember hanging out with you. Michelle, we need to get you a hat. What you said about seating and shade is so spot on!

I do love Epcot but yes , I agree Michelle, miss the fountain, in that area now, wish there was more benches, shade.
Paula it was a little warm yesterday for sure and more shade is definitely needed. I will have to agree with Michelle that the Fountain helped cool that whole area. I think over the years it will grow into a fantastic spot. Thanks for traveling along and being part of our travels.

Oh my goodness that was far too much batter on that fish. It should only be a thin to medium layer and always much more fish than batter. Also I agree with Michelle on the shade and benches. Plus a belated Happy Birthday to Michelle’s mum! 😊

The tables next to Rose and Crown were our go to spot to sit and chill until they cut down that beautiful shade tree!! Ps You were sitting at our favorite table in the restaurant #232
It was absolutely one of our favorite locations also just to sit and relax. Ya the inside was really nice to enjoy the fish and chips and a little entertainment. Thanks so much for traveling along and being part of our traveling family.

Agreed. We would definitely be in the parks more but our work schedules prevent that a lot. Michelle only gets weekends off so that is the best time for both of us in the parks. Hope you are doing great my friend and see you real soon.

Thanks for that great tip eating the fish and chips inside. we never knew that. out of all the times we ate those fish and chips we were sweating outside eating them, and we do adore those fish and chips.

Ya didn’t know the restaurant doesn’t open till 4 so they let you go inside. It was definitely a nice break from the heat. I believe Mexico is the same way I will definitely check it out. Hope you both have a fantastic week J&P-M&T

She is so right - WHERE is the SHADE??? I too just want a few more nice sitting spots. I do like the area at night though but you would think they could give us a few overhangs

I always love going to Sea pavilion at Epcot, I believe it was my son’s favourite when he was a little boy. Always wanted to scuba dive and feed the fish in the tank.
Todd, if you and Michelle get a chance, go take the behind the seeds tour, absolutely love it,find it so interesting!
I know my son wants to give it a go, growing some of our vegetables that way.
Yes, I remember the big tree at the U.K. pavilion! Nice shade there! Always love to hear the British bands, especially the Beatles band.

Shade is needed, but I don't want too many trees because then you have the issue that Animal Kingdom has, where the humidity just seems to get trapped and linger. Overall, though I also felt like Epcot was the hottest park because it seems to have the least amount of shade, especially around World Showcase when you're trying to enjoy festival booths. Good to know about being able to take your fish n' chips into the Rose & Crown. I know you can also do that at the Mexico pavilion and take their QS meal into the restaurant on the water as they don't open until dinner as well.
Lindsey shade is needed in all the parks with how warm it has been. It was nice sitting inside with the entertainment and enjoying our fish or chips inside. Ya we definitely new about the Mexican restaurant which is really nice. ThaNks so much for sharing your time with us and being part of our traveling family
Your chips look ok but the fish is nothing like we get here in the UK. Love your vids doing lots of prep for our visit in August 2025

Defo too much coating! That’s nothing like we have it - it’s usually batter not breading, so thin and crispy more like tempura (but deep fried!). And for me - has to be lots of malt vinegar (Sarsons) and homemade pickled onions with it!
That’s what I thought. The Tempura batter is more like what I would expect. Absolutely love the Malt Vinegar with it, the more the better. Thanks so much for traveling along and being part of our traveling family
No that batter on the fish should not be thick like that at all the best batter is made with sparkling water and flour and a beaten egg nice and light and crispy and I agree with Michelle re the shade we all need a nice place to sit in the shade and just take a minute 😊

Shade and WDW, you must be kidding🤣🤣🤣 It would definitely be nice if there were more shaded areas to escape the brutal Florida sunshine. EPCOT is one of the worst because it's so open.
Steven hopefully as this area matures it will get more shade. But yes the Florida heat has arrived and any shade is a welcomed treat. Hope you are doing great and I am sure it is getting warm where you are as well

EPCOT and HS are the worst for not having shade other than walking into the stores. I’m hoping we’ll catch flower and garden next year when we get off a DCL cruise. We’ll be on the wish may 12-16,2025.
They both do get pretty warm but then again it’s hot everywhere now days. We loved the Wish. Have a great week my friend

We were in Disney 2 weeks ago and somehow missed the new park are with the Walt statue? And why doesn’t Michelle visit the parks more often?
Sharon he is a little hidden and if you go left or right at the beginning you definitely miss the middle. Michelle does go as often because she has a full time job and going on the weekends gets a little busy. I am luck to be part time with Disney so I can go and do the walk arounds on my days off. She would love to be there more but unfortunately TH-cam doesn’t pay that much lol. Thanks for traveling along and being part of our traveling family.

Here at Disney PT cast can transfer locations every 6 months. Se had done vacation planning before and loved it. When the opportunity came back around she went back to that job title. She is now a coordinator and loves it. Hope you guys are doing great

Ya it definitely was a little to thick but the crust on the breading was very crispy. Thanks so much for being part of our traveling family.
About the breading on the fish & chips, absolutely that is so NOT correct. we have had that fish & chips over a dozen times and it never looked like that. I would have brought that back up and told them to make me another one. Pip pip cheerio.
All three of our dinners were the same way. Maybe they have changed the recipe to get it to look bigger. Plus the ones they were frying looked the same. Who knows we will definitely give them another try. Hope you guys had a fantastic weekend.
