what an awesome video! beautiful shots of the turtles! I had the pleasure to dive with them a lot in the Caribbean the past year I was sailing down there. love it!
Please respond ! Going in december how far off the shore were you, did you bring your own equipment and go out on your own or did you look up snorkeling places where people take you out kinda deal?
I remember going to Hawaii and I had an astounding moment with a green Sea turtle she was right on the beach just laying her eggs and as she was she looked up at me for help there were more than five people kicking her and asking each other if she was dead I should have done the right thing and called the marine biologist and reported it but my care provider said ur not supposed to get in ten feet of the magnificent animal I felt really bad I could have done at least told them to stop but there was to many people I was afraid for my well being and the sea turtle as well this happened on wakowaloa beach
Joshua Turner I just got a hero5 and know my way around fcpx now. Just toying with the idea of shooting in 2.7k 60 instead. Going to Hawaii soon. I might not bother getting a red filter. You said that you you used it around 10-15 depth I think. Were you using it this entire video?
Same here. Is it so hard to enjoy the sea life without getting right in its face? There are at least two moments here when a honu is disturbed and swims away. Enjoy from a distance so that future generations can enjoy them too.

Where abouts on the beach was it?
This is by far some of the best footage I have seen of sea turtles with a GoPro. Nice job. Did you shoot at 1080 60?
Yup also used a red backscatter filter and did some color correction in final cut pro

Wow weird coincidence, I saw you post the picture in the thumbnail on dendroboard a few days ago
Why with music??
Finding Nemo keeps going through my mind
Wonderful! I was there too, and I'll be happy if you see my videos and say your opinion))
i hope that you didn't disturb these creatures just to get your shots.
