- Want an authentic Philippine town only minutes from the National Highway, with great people, good waves, a sandy beach and local food? I solve the problem of where to stay in this video (On the Beach, On the Waves or in Town).
My dad is from samar. I loved going there when i was a kid. The beach is beautiful. White sand and full of coral you have to wear sleepers to go to the water.

Cabo beach is too primitive for me but may be young man could stay there reminds me of when I was young and I went down to it Baja in the 70s and I was so Drunk I didn’t care where I slept

That is expensive for those hotel rooms. We pay 10 to 20 USD for a room like that in Mexico.
I can not get over the serenity of the area, the people, the water, the beach. Life seems so simple Tim! I'm extremely jealous dude! There all smiling 😃...just like in America...NOT! Great 👍 vlog! Caba Beach, located in small village the Town of Allen, first town of Northern Samar, my home town in Lapinig second district of North Samar, Allen its part of first district of North Samar. Beaches in Samar looks good also. My home town on the way to Catarman Northern Samar...

All the stairs are very steep! Not too friendly for old people but very beautiful…..

Wow thanks for the video. I'll be staying in Catarman for 2 weeks in February but not much to see there (spent time there last July) so I'm looking for other places to visit while I'm there Biri Island looks good as well.

I spent a few weeks in calbayog 6 yrs ago. Went to maripipi island and Catarman. There's an airport in Catarman. You'll see it because the highway to Catarman crosses the airport runways. It's a bit scary because you have to look left, right and up to cross it. No stop signs. Just look and go fast then you're in Catarman. Oh maripipi is called the island of no return. A 2hour boat ride from Calbayog. I strongly suggest you look that up. And Sambuan island.

Tim it seems like no matter where you go its absolutely beautiful its a no wonder why everyone is so laid back and friendly in the Philippines. I have learned if you don't like spicey don't dip your food in any of there sauces between the vinegar and the chillys its usually an acquired taste. Have you tried the sea urchins they use a sauce like that for them its not to my taste its like oysters I don't care for them either.
I have not tried the sea urchins but have heard they are a delicacy. I often see divers in the back yard looking for them.
